JEE Main 2023 Application Form

JEE Main 2023 Application form has released in online mode on the official website.
Candidates have to register themselves for the JEE Main Application form using a valid email-id and mobile number.
The form will be complteley submitted only after paying the application fee.

Candidates may note that no one is allowed to fill multiple application form to apply for JEE Mains Exam.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main Scrapped for Top 20 Percentile Scorers of Each Board
The 75 Percent Eligibility Criteria has been waived for the top 20 percentile scorers of each board in the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main)
For the candidates who qualify for admission in the NITs, IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Main) ranks, they should have secured at least 75% marks in the Class 12 examination or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 examination conducted by respective Boards. For SC / ST candidates, the qualifying marks should be 65% in the Class 12 examination.

The candidates who are applying must have cleared the Class 12th exam or any equivalent exam from any recognized board or university.
Diploma Holders:

There is no age limit now to apply for JEE Main.
Number of Attempts:
There is no limit on the number of attempts to apply for this exam.
Appearing Candidates:
The candidates who appear for the 10+2 exam this year are also eligible to apply.
Year of Appearance:
Those candidates can only apply who have passed their Class 12th board exam in in 2021, 2022. The candidates appearing for the 10+2 exam can also apply.
Institutions wise Eligibility:
Candidates need to score at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards to get admissions to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs, and other institutions through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board)/ JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
The admission will be provided to the candidates based on the basis of All India Rank they have scored in the exam.

How To Fill the JEE Main 2023 Application Form?
Steps included in filling the JEE Main 2023 application form are given below.
Registration
Visit the official website of JEE Mains exam i.e jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Click on the link "JEE Mains 2023 Registration".
A new page will appear on the screen with the registration form.
Fill the details as per the prescribed documents and complete the registration.
Login and Fill the Details
After registration, candidates will receive their login id and password on the registered email id.
Login using the login details and start filling the application form details such as personal, academic, qualification and contact details as per the documents.
Uploading Documents
After filling the details, candidates have to upload the scanned images of the documents.
Candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, thumb impression, etc in the prescribed format by the authority.
Fee Payment
Now, candidates have to pay the application fees for the JEE Mains Application form.
Candidates can pay the application fee in online mode via selected payment methods.
Submission
Then, submit the application form and take a Print out of the application form for further use.
Note: The candidates need to submit one application form only. If a candidate submits more than one application form, it would then be rejected.
Important Details While Filling the JEE Main Application Form
AADHAAR number:
A column/field has been added in the Online Application Form for capturing the AADHAAR number of the candidates and it will be on a voluntary basis.
The candidate will be asked to verify their particulars i.e. Name, Date of Birth, and Gender, and authenticate again.
If not matched, the candidate has to select the second radio button - My Information on Aadhaar is not the same as entered in the Application Form and then proceed further.

It is noted that NTA does not accept any request for a change in details by post/fax or email. Any detail which is to be changed has to be corrected online through JEE Main candidate login.
How to Edit Details in JEE Main 2023 Application Form?
To edit details in JEE Main 2023 online form, you may follow the steps provided below:
Go to the JEE Main correction portal on the official website.
Next, the candidates need to log in using the application number and password.
Click on the ‘sign-in’ button to submit the login details, and on the next screen, the candidate dashboard appears.
After this, candidates need to click on the blue button for correction.
Candidates must ensure that all the changes are done correctly and then make the final submission.
JEE Main in Two Sessions
The JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in 02 (two) sessions for admissions in the academic session 2023-24. The candidates will thus benefit in the following ways:
Two Opportunity: This will give two opportunities to the students to improve their scores/result in the examination if they are not able to give their best in one attempt.
Attempts: In the first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an online examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve in second attempt.
Reduce Droppers: This will also reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste an entire year.
Missing Exams: If anyone missed the examination due to certain reasons beyond control (such as the Board examination), then he/she will not have to wait for one entire year.
Optional: A candidate need not appear in both Sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one Session then his/her best of the JEE (Main) – 2022 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.
JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern

JEE Main 2023 Answer Key
NTA released JEE Main Answer Keyvia online mode. Following are the main points regarding the same:
The candidates can access the answer key by entering their password and the application number.
The candidates can cross-check their answers by downloading the answer key and tallying the response with the answers given, hence calculating their probable score.
NTA will upload the Answer key for candidates to challenge.
Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- for submitting proof for challenging each answer.
JEE Main 2023 Result
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 1 result is eagerly awaited by the 8.6 lakh candidates who took the paper 1 exam, and the 0.46 lakh candidates who attempted paper 2 test. The overall attendance for the Engineering paper was a whopping 95.79 per cent - highest since NTA started conducting the entrance exams. NTA JEE Main 2023 Result will be declared in online mode on the official website. The candidates will have to enter their Application number and birth date to check their results. The scorecard will be released online after the announcement of the results.
JEE Main Scorecard is released separately for the first and second attempts of the exam.
The result is based on the official final answer key released by the authority.
The authority announces the rank after the second attempt only.
Candidate will not be provided with any facility to recheck or re-evaluate the result.
Moreover, candidates may take a printout of the result for further admission process.

In case the candidate's score after the declaration of result is found equal with the other candidate, then the tie would be resolved in the following descending order:
Score in Mathematics.

JEE Main 2023 Cut Off
JEE Main 2023 Cut Off will be released by NTA online mode. The candidates need to score the cut off marks to appear in the All India centralized counselling process. The cut-off marks for various categories will be released.
Through JEE Main cut off candidates will get admission into NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs and can also qualify for the JEE Advanced 2023 Exam.

JEE Main 2023 Counselling
The candidates who will get minimum cut-off marks would be eligible to participate in the online JEE Main Counselling Process. Following are the points candidates must go through regarding counselling information:
The JEE Main 2023 counselling process will take place online mode only. The first step is that the students need to get themselves registered.

Query Redressal System
National Testing Agency(NTA) has introduced a Query Redressal System(QRS), an online web-enabled system. QRS's primary aim is to enable the submission of queries or grievances by the registered candidate(s) of JEE Mains 2020 with a 24/7 facility for speedy and favourable redressal of the queries/grievances. Once submitted, a Unique Registration Number will be generated for tracking the status of the Queries or grievances raised by candidates. Thus, candidates are advised to use the QRS portal for fast response before mailing their queries on the official email id-[email protected].

Exam Conducting Body: National Testing Agency (NTA)
National Testing Agency is a newly formed testing organization to organize entrance examinations for higher educational institutions admission or fellowship. NTA is formed to improve quality and equity in education by providing research and transparent assessments. National Testing Agency (NTA) is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 of India's Government.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA)
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2020 is an independent body established by the Ministry of Education [Formerly MHRD)] to regulate and manage the joint seat allocation for admissions to 110 participating institutes in Joint Entrance Examination. This also includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 29 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). Josaa is a single platform to admit students in all the academic programs (First Year) offered by these Institutes.
