NDA (2) 2023 application form will release on 17 May 2023. National Defence Academy is an entrance exam organized at the national level for the candidates who wish to be a part of Indian Navy, Air Force and Army. NDA is organized twice a year i.e. NDA(1) April session and NDA(2) November session by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The candidates are firstly supposed to clear the written test by scoring the minimum cut off marks. After which they can appear for 5- Days Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview round and hence get admission into National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. The candidates after qualifying the interview round of SSB have to go through the medical examination and document verification procedure.

NDA (2) 2023 Result
NDA (2) result will be released after successful conduction of the exam. The UPSC shall prepare a list of candidates who will obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination for
NDA (2) Result 2023. The two-stage selection procedure has been introduced at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards based on the Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test.
- The qualified candidates will have to appear before a Services Selection Board for Intelligence and Personality Test where candidates for the Army/Navy wings of the NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy will be assessed on Officers Potentiality and those for the Air Force will have
to qualify the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS). - The candidates will be able to check their scores on the portal of the UPSC after the exam.
- candidates who will qualify the examination confers no right of admission to the Academy.
- A candidate must satisfy the appointing authority that he is suitable in all respects for admission to the Academy.
NDA (2) 2023 Interview
Candidates who will qualify the written test will be selected for SSB interview round.
- The interview process will be done in two stages.
- Stage 1 - Applicants will have to pass Officer Intelligence Rating and PP and DT (Picture Perception and Description Test).
- Stage 2 - group testing officer task, conference, psychology test, etc. At last, candidates will have to clear medical rounds.
NDA SSB Interview

- This round will be organized after the written test. Candidates clearing the written test round will be considered eligible for the interview and medical round. SSB will be organized in a number of rounds.
- It will be held in five days and candidates have to necessarily appear in all the rounds. On the first day, psychological tests will be done. The second-day test will be of situation reaction test, word association test, self-description test and thematic apperception test.
- Military Planning Exercise, Group Discussion Test, Intergroup Obstacle race, Lecturettes, Snake Race, Progressive Group Task, command task & personal interview, half group task will be done on the third day of interview for candidates by the President.
- On the last two days – fourth and fifth tests will be done related to Final Group Task, Individual Obstacles, Interview for remaining candidates, final board conference & announcement of results.
NDA (2) 2023 Application Form

- The applicants must fill the form online on the official website of the authority.
- No other mode will be accepted for form submission.
- To avoid the last-minute rush, applicants are advised to fill the form before the last date.
- Candidate should must-have details of one photo ID viz. Aadhar Card/ / Driving License/ School Photo ID/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government.

NDA (2) 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates need to carefully go through the NDA(2) 2023 Eligibility given below and thereby check their eligibility before they apply for the exam:
- Gender: Only male candidate can apply for the exam.
- Nationality: Citizen of India, Bhutan, Nepal, Tibetan those came over to India before 01 January 1962 to permanently settle in India or person of Indian those has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
- Candidates belonging to another state must have a certificate of eligibility which has been issued by the Government of India.
- Age Limits: Candidates born between 02 January 2001 to 01 January 2004 are eligible to apply.
- Marital status: Only unmarried aspirant are eligible.
- Educational Qualifications:
- For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:
- Candidate must have cleared their 10+ 2 level or equivalent examination.
- Senior secondary school certificate should be from a recognised board/ council.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:
- Candidate must have cleared their 10+ 2 level or equivalent examination.
- Senior secondary school certificate should be from a recognised board/ council.
- Candidate must have Physics and Mathematics in his 10+2 level.
- Aspirant those are in class 12th can also apply for the examination. But at the time counselling candidate have to submit their 10+2 certificate.
- Physical Standards: Candidate should be physically fit. If not candidate will be rejected in the medical round.
NDA (2) 2023 Admit Card
The candidates will get their NDA(2) 2023 Admit Card from the web portal of the UPSC. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card for the exam three weeks before the commencement of the examination.
- It is necessary to carry the hall ticket to the exam hall as entry would not be possible without it.
- Authority will not send the Admission ticket to the individuals via post or any other offline mode.
- Also, no mail or SMS will be sent regarding the same. Hence, stay connected to the page and official website to know the release date of the Hall Ticket.
- It is mandatory to carry original Id proof along with the Admit Card to the exam for verification purposes.
- On receipt of e-Admit Card, check it carefully and bring discrepancies/errors, if any, to the notice of the UPSC immediately.
- If a candidate receives an e-Admit Card in respect of some other candidate on account of a processing error, it should be notified to the Commission with a request to issue the correct e-Admit Card or else will be disqualified from the examination centre.

Two-Stage Selection Process
Candidates qualifying the written test will have to undergo the Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test introduced at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards by the Service Selection Board (SSB).
- All the aspirants will be put to stage-one test on the first day of reporting at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards.
- Only those candidates who qualify stage one will be admitted to the second stage/remaining tests.
- Those aspirants who qualify stage II will be required to submit the Original Certificates along with one photocopy each of:
