Kerala TET 2020 Application Form for November session will be released soon on the official website. It is a state-level exam that assesses the quality of teacher into candidates for Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School classes in Kerala. Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test is organised twice a year. Kerala TET 2020 Application form

Kerala TET 2020 online application form will be available soon. The process for filling the application form is given below:

  •  Download the information brochure and read the guidelines before filling the application form.
  •  Visit the official website and then click on the link "New Registration February 2020”.
  •  Enter the mandatory details such as name, mobile no., email, etc to start with registration.
  •  Upload the scanned Photograph of jpeg/jpg format as prescribed in instructions.
  •  After the completion of registration, a Registration Number will be generated.
  •  The candidates can use this Registration number to start filling the form.
  •  Fill the required Personal and Educational details.
  •  Pay the application fees through any payment gateway portal.
  •  Save the confirmation page and take out multiple photo-copies of the Application form for further use.
  • Candidates were given correction facility on 18 January 2020 in which candidate can check their previous status of payment and check and change any anomalies in their application form.

The Application form can be paid through online mode via Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking/SBI E-Pay).

Kerala TET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants willing to apply for Kerala Teacher Ability Test must go through the below-given eligibility criteria set as per the exam conducted body. There are four categories, eligibility for which is different for a different category.

Category 1- Lower Primary Teacher 

Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks. And, a two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate TTC / DEd which is conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent.


Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with having at least 45% marks and NCTE approved 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.


Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary(or equivalent) with having at least 50% marks and a 4 -year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)


Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with having at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Special Education.


Other equivalent qualifications.

Category 2- Upper Primary Teacher

Graduation in B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education(D.El.Ed) or Trained Teacher's Certificate(TTC) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt of Kerala or its equivalent.


B.A/B.Com/B.Sc with at least 45% aggregate marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed) per NCTE regulations.


Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary(or equivalent) with having an aggregate of 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education(B.El.Ed)


Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary(or equivalent) with having an aggregate of 50% marks and a 4-Year B.A/B.Sc.Ed.


Other Equivalent qualification.

Category 3- High School Teacher

BA/BSc/B.Com with an aggregate of 45% marks and a B.Ed. Degree in the main subject (from any one of the Universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other recognized Universities).


The candidates having  MSc.Ed. Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology with an aggregate of 50% marks from one of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT will be eligible to apply.


BA or equivalent with at least 45% marks and LTTC ( Learning, Teaching, and Technology) are eligible to apply.


Other Equivalent qualification

For Category 4- Language Teacher, Specialist teacher, and Physical Education

Those who acquired qualifications for the posts of Language Teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit & Urdu (up to Upper Primary level), Specialist teachers & Physical Education teachers as mentioned in Chapter 31(XXXI) of Kerala Education Act And Rules are eligible to apply for KTET-4.

Kerala TET 2020 Exam Pattern

Kerala TET 2020 exam pattern will consist of one paper under each category. Candidates willing to apply for Kerala-TET can go through the given table to understand the nature of the exam and prepare accordingly.

Kerala TET 2020 Admit Card

Kerala TET 2020 Admit Card can download from the official website from 05 February 2020. Following are the guidelines to download the admit card:

  • Candidates need to log in with their respective credentials at the login portal. 
  • The admit card will have information like Name of Candidate, DOB, Address, Centre, etc.
  • In the case of discrepancy, the candidate can contact the authority.
  • It is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the admit card on the exam day to the exam centre, in the absence of which a candidate will be debarred from writing the exam.
  • Applicants must also carry a valid photo ID proof and two passport size photographs along with the admit card.
  • A photo ID can be any one of the given options- Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Passport, etc.
  • Candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe for future reference.

How to Download KTET 2020 Hall Ticket?

The candidates can follow the below-given steps to downlaod Kerala TET 2020 admit card:

 Step 1 - Go to the official website of KTET.

Step 2 - Click on the link to download the Admit card.

Step 3 -  At the login page, enter the category, application number & ID to login and open the admit card.

Step 4 - Download and get a print out of the admit card. 

Kerala TET 2020 Answer Key

Kerala TET 2020 Answer Key will be available on the official website. The Answer Key can help a candidate predict their marks and can also get an idea regarding their chances of qualifying the exam. Below guidelines should be followed to download the Kerala TET Answer key:

  • The candidates can directly check the answer key by clicking on the link on the official website.
  • They do not have to enter login credentials for it.
  • The Answer key is in the form of a PDF.

Kerala TET 2020 Result

Kerala TET 2020 Result will be declared by the Education Board of Kerala. Candidates should follow the below-given guidelines to download their Result:

  •  Visit the official website and Login with the correct credentials.
  • The details like Category/Categories, Date of Birth and Registration Number should be filled by the candidates.
  • The result once announces will not be put to re-evaluation.
  • Upon the basis of KTET 2020 result for the November session, the qualifying candidates will be awarded the Teacher's Training Certificate (TTC).
  • TTC will help them apply for teaching positions at all Government or Privately aided schools in Kerala State.

Kerala TET 2020 Certificate

The KTET 2020 Certificate will be given to those candidates who will qualify the Kerala TET 2020 test by the Secretary, Pareeksha Bhavan, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram on behalf of Govt. of Kerala. The original educational qualification certificates will be verified for the same by the DEO's concerned. Candidates applying for different categories will receive separate certificates by the Government.
