NDA 2 2022 Selection Procedure

NDA 2 2022 selection process is a complex process. The UPSC notified about the NDA examination for the year 2022 through a notification published on the website. Read on to find out how eligible candidates are selected for admission into these academies. Candidates must read below sections carefully to know the whole process for NDA 2 2022 Selection.

1. Written Examination

The written entrance exam is the first stage of the selection of the candidates. Candidates will qualify for the subsequent selection stages who secure the cut off marks in the written examination. The UPSC published the results of the written examination through the website only.

• The selected candidate's name who will qualify in the exam will be declared through the official website of the Commission.

2. Interview 

Candidates who qualify in the examination of the NDA and NA 2 will be called for the SSB round. Qualifying candidates have to check the website of UPSC to know the details of their centre and the date of the interview. 

• UPSC sent call letters to candidates which indicating the date and venue of the interview.

First stage Selection

The first stage of the selection process of the SSB round will consist of the OIR(Officer Intelligence Rating ) test and PP&DT( Picture Perception & Description Test). It will be conducted on the first day of the SSB interview round processes.

• • Those candidates who qualify for the first stage are allowed to participate in the second stage.

Second Stage of Selection

The second stage of the SSB interview round will consist of the interview, psychology tests, the group testing officer tasks, and a final conference. The duration of the second round of the SSB interview will of four days.

3. Final Selection

The candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written examination and both stages of the SSB interview round.

• Candidates who have qualified in the written test and the SSB round will be put together in a final merit list.
• The admission into the different departments of the Indian Defence Forces such as the Army, Air Force, Navy of the NDA 2, and the 10+2 cadets entry scheme of the Naval Academy will be based on the vacant seats available. This year a total of 418 vacant seats available as per the official notification released by the UPSC.
