SRMJEEE 2024 Syllabus is released by the conducting authority. The application form has been released by the authority. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the SRM Institute of Science & Technology (SRMIST). This offers admission in Engineering courses. Aspirants who wish to be a part of the university are required to clear the Joint Entrance exam for the year 2024 which would be held in April 2024 tentatively and will take place only once.  Candidates must read the given below article regarding the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam syllabus for better preparation.

Exam Phases: SRMJEEE 2024 will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1 application will be accepted until April 13, and the exam is scheduled for April 19, 20, and 21. Phase 2 application will be accepted until June 15, with the exam taking place on June 21, 22, and 23.

SRMJEEE Physics Syllabus 2024

The SRMJEEE 2024 exam will have 125 questions of five subjects - physics, chemistry, maths or biology, English and aptitude. The physics section will cover topics such as units and measurement; gravitation, mechanics of solids and fluids gravitation; electrostatics; current electricity; magnetism and magnetic effects of current; electromagnetic induction, alternating currents and electromagnetic; optics; dual nature of radiation and matter and atomic physics; nuclear physics; and electronic devices.

Algebra

Binomial theorem and its Applications: Binomial theorem for a positive integral index; general term and middle term; Binomial theorem for any index. Properties of binomial coefficients. Simple applications for approximations.

Sequences and Series: Arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions. Insertion of arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means between two given numbers. The relation between A.M., G.M. and H.M. arithmetic, geometric series, exponential and logarithmic series.

Differential Calculus and its application

Polynomials, rational, trigonometric, logarithmic and exponential functions. Inverse functions. Graphs of simple functions. Limits, continuity, differentiation of the sum, difference, product and quotient of two functions, differentiation of trigonometric, inverse
trigonometric, logarithmic, exponential, composite and implicit functions, derivatives of order up to two. 

Applications of Differential Calculus: Rate of change of quantities, monotonic–increasing and decreasing functions, maxima and minima of functions of one variable, tangents and normals, Rolle’s and Lagrange’s mean value theorems. Ordinary differential equations, their order and degree. Formation of differential equations. The solution of differential equations by
the method of separation of variables. Solution of homogeneous and linear differential equations and those of the type dy/dx + p(x)y=q(x)

Integral Calculus and its application Integral as an anti-derivative. Fundamental integrals involving algebraic, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions. of axes, slope of a line, parallel and perpendicular lines, intercepts of a line on the coordinate axes. 

Circles in Two Dimensions: Standard form of the equation of a circle, the general form of the equation of a circle, its radius and centre, equation of a circle in the parametric form, equation of a circle when the endpoints of a diameter are given, points of intersection of a line and a circle with the centre at the origin and condition for a line to be tangent to the circle. 

Conic Sections in Two Dimensions: Sections of cones, equations of conic sections (parabola, ellipse and hyperbola) in standard form, condition for y = mx+c to be a tangent and point(s) of tangency.

Vector AlgebraVectors and scalars, the addition of vectors, components of a vector in two dimensions and three-dimensional space, scalar and vector products, scalar and vector triple product. Application of vectors to plane geometry. 
Statistic and Probability DistributionMeasures of Central Tendency and Dispersion: Calculation of mean, median and mode of grouped and ungrouped data. Calculation of standard deviation, variance and mean deviation for grouped and ungrouped data. Probability: Probability of an event,

Five kingdom classification: Monera, Protista and Fungi into major groups; Lichens; Viruses and Viroids. Salient features of them.
