GATE 2023 Result Announced: Check Your Qualifying Status

Latest Update

• The GATE scorecard 2023 can be downloaded with the late fee from June 1 to December 31, 2023.
• The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will declare the GATE 2023 result on March 16, 2023.
• Candidates who have taken the GATE 2023 exam can check their scores by logging in to the official website of GATE, gate.iitk.ac.in.
• The individual scorecards of candidates will be available for download on March 21, 2023.

• The result can be downloaded by using the Email ID, enrolment number, registration ID and password.
• After the result declaration, the authority has released the GATE scorecard on March 2023. 
• Only students who will qualify the GATE exam can download the scorecard till May 2023 which is valid for three years from the date of result announcement.

GATE 2023 Cut Off

The GATE cutoff 2023 will be released by the IIT, Kanpur on the GOAPS official website. GATE 2022 result along with the cut-off has been announced in March 2022. Candidates have to visit the official website of GOAPS to check the GATE Cut Off 2022. GATE 2022 Cut Off is the minimum mark required to obtain by a candidate to get admission in M.E./M.Tech courses in various IITs, IIITs, and NITs.

How is GATE 2023 Result calculated?

IIT Delhi has released the answer key and after the evaluation of the final answer key, the actual marks obtained by the candidates will be considered for the calculation of GATE scorecard. 

• For different subjects, marks obtained by the candidates in different sessions will be converted to Normalized marks for that particular subject.

How to Download the GATE 2023 Result or Scorecard?

The candidates can download the result from the GATE online application portal from. Whereas, the GATE scorecard/rank card will be available for download from April 2022 to May 2023.

Below-given steps can be followed by the candidates to download the GATE Result 2023:

• STEP 1: Firstly, visit the GOAPS online portal and log in. 
• STEP 2: Candidates can log in by using the login credentials such as the Enrollment Id/ Registration Id/ Email and Password. 
• STEP 3: Then, candidates will be redirected towards their GATE 2023 Result/Scorecard.
• STEP 4: The result will appear on the screen.
• STEP 5: Download the GATE result and take the printout of the same.

The candidates must keep the printout of the GATE scorecard as no hard copies of the scorecard will be issued by the authority. Also, they need to verify the details mentioned on the scorecard. The scorecard contains the following details:

What to do after Qualifying for the GATE 2023 Exam?
