BVP CET 2023 Exam Pattern will help candidates to prepare for the Common Entrance Test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth University with ease and clarity. Bhartiya Vidyapeeth common entrance test abbreviated as BVP CET is a national level examination. The exam pattern eases the candidate’s preparation for attempting the exam and gives a crude idea to make the further timetables and preparation patterns. 
The candidates selected for admission through BVP CET are eligible for admissions into the university and 12 other affiliated colleges over Pune and a few other neighbouring states. The university is an A grade certified university and is also NAAC accredited.

BVP CET 2023 Exam Pattern

Aspirants can check below BVP CET 2023 Exam pattern:

  • Mode of examination: The exam will be an offline, pen and paper mode type of examination and will be an OMR based. 
  • Language of examination: The questions will be asked in the English language completely. 
  • Duration of examination: The exam will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours. 
  • Type of questions: All the questions will be multiple choice types. Each question will have four options. 
  • A number of questions: There will be a total of 200 questions. Few streams like nursing have the exam for 100 marks. 
  • Marking scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and a wrong answer will be awarded zero marks. There is no negative marking.

TEST SCHEDULE 
The exam will be conducted in the month of May or June. The exam would be conducted all over India across various test centres and it would be an offline, pen and paper-based examination. The candidates are advised to carry a black pen and a pencil for filling in the OMR sheet. 
The marking would be as explained below:
  • Correct answer – 1 mark 
  • Wrong answer – 0 marks
  • Incorrect question – the final decision is made by the university 
EXAM DURATION 
The exam would consist of 200 questions and the time given to answer them is 3 hours. The number of questions and subject wise break up is different for each stream.

PARTICULARS OF EXAMINATION 
  • The exam is an Optical Marking Sheet (OMR) based examination and the candidates are strongly advised to carry a black pen, a blue and a pencil for marking in the sheet. 
  • Each question is a multiple-choice type one with only one correct answer and each correct answer carries 1 mark. 
  • Each question has 4 options of which one is a correct answer. 
  • There is no negative marking and candidates are advised to attempt all the questions. 
  • The questions would be of +2 level and a thorough reading of the subjects from prescribed textbooks would help to a great extent. 
  • The duration of the exam would vary for each stream and course. 
DETAILED STREAMWISE PATTERN 
B.TECH COURSES
  • There will be 200 questions in total for 200 marks. 
  • The duration of the exam will be for 3 hours. 
  • Questions from class 11th and 12th mathematics and physics will be asked. 
  • Mathematics – 100 questions, Physics – 100 questions 
  • Each correct answer carries one mark and there is no negative marking. 
BBA/ BCA COURSES 
    • BVP BUMAT is conducted for these courses. 
    • The number of questions = 200 and the total marks are 200.
  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.  
LLB (LAW)
  • It is a common examination for BA and BBA in Law courses. 
  • The number of questions is 100 and the total marks are 100.
  • Question division is:

         Legal Aptitude – 25 questions
         Current News – 25 questions
         Social Sciences – 25 questions
B. PHARM (PHARMACEUTICALS)
  • Number of questions are 100 and total marks are 100
  • Exam duration is 2 hours.
