Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam to know they are eligible or not. Check the below mentioned detailed BVP CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
Category | Eligibility Requirements |
Qualifying examination | Candidates should pass the 10+2 (senior secondary/HSC) examination or any other exam of equivalence. Note: For admission into B.tech (engineering) and MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS ( medical ) courses, the candidates must have physics, chemistry and maths/ biology/ biotechnology as the compulsory subjects. |
Pass percentage | The candidate must obtain at least 45% (when all the subjects are taken together) for general category students and 40% for sc/st students |
Age limit | The applicant's age must be 17 years during the time of admission |
Eligibility as per the courses is given below.

MBBS | Passing HSC/10+2 or Indian school certificate exam (ICSE) in subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (individually). 50% marks in PCB (40% marks for sc/st) |
B.Optometry lateral entry | Passing H.S.C/10+2 with 45% marks in physics, chemistry, biology or math & also compulsory passed in English |
BASLP | Passing +2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths & English. Must obtain 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Math |
B.Tech | Passing HSC/12th class with Math along with Chemistry/Computer science/Biotechnology/Biology. Must obtain 50% marks in Physics and Maths (NOTE: For lateral entry, students must pass a diploma in engineering (1st class only) institution recognized by All India Council for Technical Education. |
BSc Nursing | Passing +2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with 50% marks in each. |
BSc Pharmacy | Passing 10+2 in subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths & English with 50% marks in each. (NOTE: The candidates belonging to the backward class from Maharashtra, should get 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Maths. Also, those who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with 50% marks will be eligible for 1st-year BPharm admission |
BVP CET Hotel management | Passing 12th class with compulsory English and having a minimum of 45% marks. |
BHMCT | Passing 10+2 |
BArch | Passing 12th class with English & Maths and 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC). (NOTE: However, its vacancy exist candidates from other stream commerce, arts can be considered eligible for admission.) |
The University will release the application form online on the official website for all the courses. The candidates must make the requisite fee payment along with the form. Also, the form must be submitted on or before the due date.
