IIAD DAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria has been set by the main exam conducting authority - the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD). The registration process is ongoing and the candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying. IIAD DAT 2024 is a university-level exam conducted twice a year, mainly in December and April. Aspirants should check the eligibility criteria before applying. - The class 10+2 examinations must be from a recognized board such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISC), or the International Baccalaureate (IB).
- The minimum aggregate of 50% is required in all subjects.
- Candidates appearing for class 12th exams or are waiting for their results can also apply, but they will be provisionally admitted and their final admission will be subject to their passing the class 12th examinations with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
IIAD 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for IIAD Aptitude Test 2024 are different for UG and PG design courses offered at Indian Institute of Art and Design. IIAD 2024 Eligibility Criteria (Course Wise)
For Under Graduate Programme:
- Our Undergraduate programme offers a total of 150 seats distributed across four courses:
- UG Communication Design
- UG Interior Architecture and Design
- UG Fashion Design
- UG Fashion Business Management
- Candidates must have completed senior secondary education or its equivalent with 50%. Or the candidate appearing and whom results are pending can also apply for the exam.
- Class 12 level should be from a recognized Board any stream (Arts, Commerce or Science). However, IIAD has provided the list of Board from which they take candidates which are shown below:
- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
- Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)
- Indian State Boards
- National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
- International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)
- Or any other approved National or International Board of Education
- Candidates must have passing marks in senior secondary school to apply for the IIAD entrance exam.
- Applicants who are appearing for the final exams of higher secondary education can also apply for the entrance test.
- Candidates have to provide evidence of appearance in the final exam at the admission time.
For Postgraduate Programmes
- Our Postgraduate programme offers a total of 40 seats distributed across two courses:
- Master’s in Fashion Design
- Master’s in Fashion Business Management
- Candidates who have passed their Undergraduate Examination (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognised Institute or University may apply.
Those who are appearing for it in the current academic year or are awaiting their results may also apply. - For Lateral Entry
Also, there is a lateral entry for those who have passed one year in any discipline from a recognised university/board.

Candidates can apply for the course of their choice in online and offline mode. Upon completion of the IIAD application process, they are required to pay INR 1,000 as application for admission to the BBA General / BCA General / BCom and INR 1,200 as application for admission to BBA International / BCA International. Step 2: Click on the 'Internet Application Form'
Step 3: Click on 'New Request' and register with the basics.
Step 4: Sign in with the details and complete the application form.
Step 5: Upload the documents on the official website and pay the application fee.

Offline Application Process
Step 1: The candidate can obtain an application form and information booklet from the Admissions office or an online link on the official website.
Step 2: Complete the application form and send it by post or in person to the reception office of the Asian School of Business, Noida.
