IIAD 2023 Counselling: Dates, Process, Documents, Seat Allotment

IIAD 2023 Counselling is conducted by the Indian Institute of Art and Design for those applicants who get are shortlisted in the merit list as per their marks. After which they will get the call letter from the authority. Students should have to carry the required documents at the examination at the counselling center for verification. As per the performance of the candidates in the counselling session, admission will provide to them in designing programs. Design Aptitude Test (IDAT) has managed by the Indian Institute of Art and Design in collaboration with Kingston School of Art at Kingston University, London to provide admission to aspirants in the Undergraduate design program.

IIAD Counseling Procedure 2023
Following are the procedure of IIAD counseling has mentioned below for candidates and they have to follow it.
- After the result declaration, the applicants will be shortlisted in the merit list and the selected students will be invited for the counseling session.
- As per the marks scored by candidates in the examination, the seat allotment will be done as per the choice of candidates.
- It is also necessary for the candidates to carry the required documents for verification and applicants should have to pay the admission after confirmation of admission.

IIAD Entrance Exams
The screening process at IIAD aims to test the merit of a candidate based on their aptitude for design learning. The IIAD Entrance test has two components, which vary based on the course you apply for. Refer to the table given in this section to check your course requirements.
IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT): The IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) is a written test designed to assess a candidate's creative and visual ability, cultural awareness and logical thinking. The exam paper is a combination of visual tasks, writing tasks, one-word answers and multiple choice questions.
IIAD Management Aptitude Test ( iMAT): The IIAD Management Aptitude Test (iMAT) is a written test designed to assess an applicant’s language, logical reasoning and creative thinking. The exam paper is a combination of multiple choice questions and writing tasks.
Personal Interview: Personal Interview is an opportunity for applicants to have a face-to-face interaction with IIAD, so that their suitability can be assessed. With this understanding, IIAD can guide the applicant towards how the programme can meet their aspirations and interests.
