UPES Eligibility for Bachelor in Designing (B.Des)

There are two way to take admission in the Bachelors of Design (B.Des) course in UPES as stated below;

• By taking the UPES DAT 2023 Examination – To go through this way, the applicant needs to score a minimum of 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th)
• For those who don’t wish to take the UPES DAT 2023 Examination, the procedure is stated below:-

• In 1st Year, all the candidates of the B.Des program will go through a foundation program & from 2nd year onwards they will be aligned to their chosen specialization.
• Candidates must score 80% marks in 10 & 10+2 level examination for the scholarship in B.Des Program.

UPES DAT 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates can go through the UPES DAT 2023 exam pattern to have an idea of the structure of DAT exam 2023. Check the details below:

• Mode of Examination: The exam will be conducted through Online (CBT) mode.
• Duration: Time duration allotted is 60 minutes (one hour).
• Marking Scheme: Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

There is no official release of the UPES DAT 2023 syllabus from the Design Aptitude Test Examination conducting body but making an educated guess, candidates can prepare the following fields;

UPES DAT 2023 Admit Card

UPES DAT 2023 admit card will be available online on the official website. Admit card for UPES DAT is a mandatory document for candidates to carry with them to their test centre on the day of the entrance exam.

• Candidates shall be denied admission into the examination hall if they fail to bring along their admit cards.
• Aspirants can download their hall ticket by providing their Application Number and Date of Birth/Email ID online on the website of UPES.

25% Scholarship on tuition fee will be provided to all girls taking admission in any of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate for the academic year 2023.

• The scholarship will be renewed every year.
• Attendance in the previous year should be more than 75%.
