PTE ID Policy 

Following are the rules for all identification documents:

• For any form of ID, it should be a valid document (not expired) or its issue date no more than 10 years old.
• The same ID details must be presented by the test taker on the day of the test.
• The name on the ID should exactly match the name used when booking the test.
• If a candidate fails to provide the required ID he/she will not be allowed to appear for the test and will lose the fee deposited.
• Copies of ID will not be accepted.
• No other ID will be accepted at the test centre.

• Mode of exam - Online via CBT (computer-based )
• Duration - 03 hours (180 minutes)
• Sections - Speaking and Writing (together), Listening and Reading.

PTE Exam 2023 Result

PTE score is evaluated in a range of 10 - 90 points where 10 is the lowest and 90 being the highest. Increments of 1 point are made based on the candidate's performance which is measured on the parameters such as the ability to speak, read, write English language, and understanding verbal instructions.

• The examinees can view their score approximately 5 days after the test date inside the PTE Account.
• PTE General Score is valid for a lifetime whereas PTE Academic score is valid for 02 years.
• In Australia, the PTE Academic score is valid for 03 years where the students or immigrants can apply for Permanent Residency (PR).
• The examinees can send their report to an unlimited number of institutions.

• Step 2 - Login to PTE Account
• Step 3 - Click on View Score Reports
• Step 4 -Select the type of name of an institution in the field marked ‘Institution / Organization / Department/School’ and click ‘Search’.
• Step 5 - Tick the box next to the institution’s name when it appears in the list
• Step 6 - Review the details entered, then scroll down the page and click ‘Next’ and then again on ‘Next’ to confirm.
