PGIMER 2021 Cutoff : Previous year cutoff

PGIMER, Chandigarh will select medical graduates for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) on the basis of PGIMER 2021 cutoff. The board releases the category-wise PGIMER cutoff 2021 along with the last rank along and the marks based on which the admission will be provided. The cutoff of PGIMER January 2021 will be designed on the basis of various factors such as the number of candidates appearing for exam, applications received and seats available.

- Number of candidates appearing in PGIMER 2021
- Total number of vacant seats
- Applications received for admission
- Candidate's Category
PGIMER 2021 Expected Qualifying Percentile
The below table shows the PGIMER cutoff 2021 percentile for different categories. Candidates who will clear the PGIMER 2021 exam can participate in the seat allotment process. During the counselling process, candidates have to provide their preferences and will be provided admission based on their PGIMER rank. However, if no empty seats left vacant, the qualified candidates will not be provided admission.

Procedure to determine Inter-Se Merit
If two or more candidates score equal marks in PG entrance examination, then, their merit rank will be determined in the following sequence.
Candidates with more aggregate of mark in PGIMER 2021 exam will have a higher rank.
If the tie is still unresolved, then age will be considered as next tie remover, in which the candidate who is older in age to be ranked higher.
