NEET UG 2027: Application, Exam Dates, Syllabus & New Pattern

The Entrance Test shall consist of 200 multiple choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). 50 questions in each subject will be divided into two Sections (A and B). The duration of the Examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes) from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST).

• Registration Period: The NEET UG 2027 application form is tentatively expected to be available from January 12, 2027. Candidates should monitor the official website for the confirmed schedule.

NEET UG 2027 Application Form

Candidates can fill the NEET UG 2027 Application Form on the official website of NTA. Check the given below points of NEET UG registration 2027:

• Before filling out the application form, candidates must complete NEET registration.
• After successful NEET 2027 registration, login details will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID or mobile number.
• Using those login details, candidates can then fill out the NEET 2027 application form on the official website.
• Candidates will complete the application form online by entering all basic and required information.
• Applicants should keep scanned images of their latest Photograph and Signature in JPG/JPEG format ready for uploading as part of the NEET 2027 online application submission.

NEET UG 2027 Correction Window

• The NEET 2027 form correction window is expected to open shortly after successful submission of the application form. NTA will open the NEET UG 2027 correction window so that candidates can edit their application form. Corrections/modifications will be allowed in select particulars only, such as:
• Uploading wrong photographs
• Changes in subject name
• Wrong spelling of name or other details
• Changes in identification type or number

NEET UG 2027 Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidates can check the NEET UG 2027 Eligibility through the below details:

1. Nationality: There is no restriction based on nationality. Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and foreign nationals are all eligible to apply for NEET (UG).
2. Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply under the 15% All India Quota only, based on self-declaration.
3. Age limit: Applicants must have completed a minimum of 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as of the date of examination, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC applicants.
4. Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from any government-recognised board or central board.
5. Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with English as a mandatory subject at Class 12 level.
6. Percentage: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks for the General category, 45% for persons with disabilities (PwD), and 40% for SC/ST category candidates in the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology group at the 10+2 level.

NEET UG 2027 Admit Card

• National Testing Agency (NTA) release the Admit card online on its official website. Candidates can log in with their application number and DOB or password to download their hall ticket. Candidate must go through the undermentioned guidelines related to NEET 2027 hall ticket for UG courses:
• Applicants must have the NEET UG exam 2027 Admit Card. Candidates without admit card and valid photo identity (Aadhaar/ Passport/ Driving License/ Voter ID) will not be permitted to enter the Examination Hall by the Center-in-Charge.
• A photograph of the candidate will be taken at the Centre before being asked to take his seat for the examination. 
• Applicants found carrying any unwanted materials, textual material either printed or written or any other material except those mentioned above inside the examination hall will be debarred from appearing in the exam.
• Mobile Phones, Bluetooth devices, Calculators, Log Tables, or any electronic devices with the facilities of a calculator or will not be allowed in the Examination.
