NCHM JEE 2024 registration has commenced! The National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE) is a nationwide entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) Course at Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM). Candidates interested to take this exam must apply online at nchmjee.nta.nic.in before March 27, and the exam will be held on Sunday, May 14.

NCHM JEE 2024 Latest Update

• Registration Period: The NCHMCT JEE 2024 registration for admission into IHMs and other colleges is expected to start in February 2024.
• Application Correction Window: The application correction window for NCHMCT JEE 2024 is scheduled to be open in May 2024.
• Admit Card Release: Admit cards for NCHMCT JEE 2024 will be available on the official website in May 2024.
• Examination Date: The NCHMCT JEE 2024 is likely to be conducted in May 2024.
• Counselling Round 1: The first round of counselling for NCHMCT JEE 2024 is expected to commence in June 2024.
• Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidates should have cleared the Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
• Those appearing for the qualifying examination can also apply.
• English should be one of the subjects in the qualifying examination.
• The upper age limit is 25 years for General and OBC categories and 28 years for SC, ST, and PwD categories as of July 1 of the exam year.
• Participating Colleges: NCHMCT JEE 2024 will be conducted for admission to undergraduate programs in hotel management and catering technology in Indian Institutes of Management (IHMs), state government colleges, and various private institutes.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Application Form

NCHMCT JEE Application Form has been released on 04 February 2024 on the official website of conducting authority. Check the essential points concerned with NCHMCT JEE 2024 registration process:

• Candidates firstly need to register themselves through online mode only for Hotel Management Entrance Exam 2024 i.e. NCHMCT JEE 2024.
• Enter some basic information and generate their NCHMCT JEE 2024 registration ID and password for further process.
• After generating the ID candidates have to log in with ID and fill in all the required details.
• Upload scanned copy of recent photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
• After form filling, candidates have to pay the fees through online mode.
• Candidates must be careful while filling the online application form because the authority will not provide any facility of correction in the registration form.
• After completion of the NCHMCT JEE 2024 (Hotel Management Entrance Exam 2024) application process, candidates must take the print out copy of their filled NCHMCT JEE application form 2024 for further process.

• Candidates, who wish to appear for this examination, must have passed 12th from a recognized Board/University.
• Candidate must have passed their Qualifying examination with English as a mandatory subject.
• Candidates who are in 12th or have given the examination of 12th this year can also apply for NCHMCT JEE 2024 on a provisional basis.

• upper age limit for the candidates belongs to general and OBC category is 25 years as of 01 July 2024.
• For ST/SC category candidates, the upper age limit is 28 years as of 1st July 2024.
• During counselling, candidates need to bring the original age proof and if one doesn’t bring the required document, it will lead to the cancellation of their admission.

• Admissions to the 1^st year of BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration program will be based on the All India Rank secured by the candidate in the written examination (NCHMCT JEE 2024)
• Ranks will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination.

NCHMCT JEE 2024 Admit Card

• English Language and Comprehension: Candidates proficiency in English based on comprehension passages and grammar. In the comprehension section, candidates will be questioned on their understanding of the passage and its central theme, vocabulary, etc. The grammar section requires the correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, filling of blanks in sentences with appropriate words, etc.
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs: The General knowledge will be tested on the general awareness including static general knowledge. Questions on current affairs will test knowledge of national and international current affairs.
• Reasoning and Logical Deduction: The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test the candidate's ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It may include a variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, etc.

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology

National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT) controls its affair under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The council regulates academics for B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration and ten other structured courses of study that are imparted at the affiliated 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 25 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector Undertaking and 24 Private Institutes of Hotel Management.  The Council has till date trained more than one lakh Hospitality Managers,
