MAT 2019 Registration last date is 06 December 2019 for Computer-Based Test (CBT). Management Aptitude Test 2019 entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) at the National Level for the candidates who wish to pursue an MBA and make their career in Business Management Studies. This exam is a gateway for the candidates who wished to get enrolled in PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management), Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and various allied management programmes.

MAT 2019 Application Form

MAT 2019 Application Form has been available online in the 09 October 2019 for the December session. The applicant can find the information about Application Form hereby:

  • The application forms will be available online on the official website.
  • The candidates need to fill in their complete personal, educational, etc. details in the application form.
  • The last date to fill the application form was 06 December 2019 for CBT and 01 December 2019 of PBT.
  • The applicant will also have to upload their scanned signature (10 to 150 Kb) and photograph (40 to 150 Kb) while uploading their application form.
  • The candidates can also check the status of their application form after the application process gets completed.
  • The applicant also need to fill their exam choice (computer-based test, pen-based test or both) and select the Test centre of their choice.

Mode of Payment - The candidates can pay the application fee using either of these online modes of payment: Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.

MAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should go through the MAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria before they start filling the application form so that their application does not gets cancelled at a later stage.

  • Nationality Criteria: Indian, as well as Foreign National, are eligible to apply for this exam.
  • Age specification: There is no age limit set by AIMA.
  • Experience Required: The working candidates can also apply.
  • Educational Qualification criteria: The applicant having a graduation degree also be eligible to apply for MAT. The candidates in the final year of their graduation can also apply in the exam if the candidate will complete his graduation before the admission process.
  • Minimum Percentage requirement criteria: The minimum percentage required will be different for every institute or college participating in MAT entrance exam 2019. The applicants, therefore, need to check the minimum percentage requirement from the website of institute/university they prefer.

MAT 2019 Admit Card

MAT 2019 Admit Card/Hall Ticket will be available till 10 December 2019 for CBT and has been released on 02 December 2019 for PBT. The details about MAT Hall Ticket are provided in this section below:

  • The candidates will be able to download their MAT Admit Card 2019 after they have successfully submitted their application form. 
  • The applicants will be required to enter their login id to download their admit card.
  • The candidates can find details such as time and date of exam, candidate’s name and address, examination venue etc.
  • The admit cards will be released by AIMA on the official website and would be available on December 2019.
  • The admit card will not be dispatched by post to any of the applicants and they need to download their admit card.
  • The applicants need to have their admit card with them on the exam day without which they will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

MAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The candidates must ensure that they are familiar with MAT 2019 Exam Pattern so that they have an idea of the question paper format and they can accordingly prepare for the Management Aptitude exam (MAT).

MAT 2019 Syllabus 

The candidates must have proper knowledge about the MAT 2019 Syllabus so that they can prepare all the topics from the subjects mentioned above. The syllabus of MAT exam is given in detail below:

Mathematical Skill:

  • This section will include questions from time and work, percentage, simple compound interest, profit and loss, number system, trigonometry, height and distance, LCM and HCF, ratio proportions, clock calendars, time speed and distance, partnership etc.

Language Comprehension:

  • This section will be based on the topics i.e. English grammar, synonyms, antonyms, reading comprehension, sentence completion, sentence corrections, different usage of same words, one-word substitutions, fill in the blanks etc.

Data Analysis and Sufficiency:

  • In this section, important topics will be data sufficiency, Venn diagram, charts i.e. column, bar, pie, line graph, puzzles, pie chart, data comparison, bar charts and data tables etc.

Intelligence and Critical Reasoning:

  • Logical Reasoning will be based on the topics i.e. the course of actions, family trees, blood relations, numeric grid, pie chart, calendar, critical reasoning, multi-dimensional arrangement, syllogism, column graph, critical reasoning, series, visual reasoning, etc.

Indian Global Environment:

  • This section will contain questions based on current affairs and latest news and other topics like world records, business, books and authors, history, social issues, geography, finance, automobiles, politics, famous awards and price etc.

MAT 2019 Preparation Tips

Candidates can go through the MAT 2019 Preparation Tips before they start their preparation for the exam:

  • The candidates need to make a proper time table to and follow it properly so that they can be consistent in their preparation for the exam.
  • The applicants must know about the exam pattern and topic wise syllabus before they begin their preparation for the exam. 
  • The candidates need to be regular in their revision as only revision regularly will help the applicants to get good marks in MAT 2019.
  • The applicants need to give as many mock tests they can and solve all the question papers of the previous year.
  • The candidates need to be well aware of the current affairs and the latest national and international news. They can refer to: newspapers; renowned G.K. books such as Arihant, Manorma; and television for the same.
  • The candidates must avoid junk food and need to have a balanced diet.
  • The applicants also need to have proper rest and practice yoga or meditation to get relieved from stress.

MAT 2019 Result

Applicants can check there MAT result 2019 in the third week of December 2019. The necessary details are given below:

  • The MAT 2019 Result will be declared through both online and offline mode.
  • The candidates will need to enter information such as roll number and registered mobile number to download their scorecard and hence check their result.
  • The applicants will be able to know about the marks they have secured and also the percentile the candidate has got in the exam.

MAT 2019 Score Card 

The detailed information regarding MAT 2019 Score Card is given below:

  • The MAT 2019 Scorecard will be dispatched to the candidates by email or post.
  • The MAT scorecard will be accepted by many management institutes all over India to give applicants admission into the management programmes.
  • The candidates can also download their scorecard (online) by entering their login id credentials.
  • The applicants need to keep the scorecard safely for further admission process.
  • The candidates can apply for a duplicate scorecard in case they have misplaced their original scorecard.
  • The scorecard will have 1-year validity.

MAT 2019 Cut Off

The various institutes/colleges would be releasing their individual MAT 2019 Cutoff after the declaration of the MAT result. The colleges /institutions would be screening the candidates for admission based on cutoff marks. The cutoff of MAT exam will depend on the following factors: total number of seats, the difficulty level of the question paper, the total number of candidates appearing for the MAT entrance exam. The applicants need to score the cutoff marks to get admission into their desired institutions.

MAT 2019 Counselling 

The MAT 2019 Counselling will be conducted by the participating institutions separately. 

  • Some institutions would be organizing GD and personal interview rounds for the same while some institutes would be providing the admission directly based on marks obtained by the candidate in the written test.
  • The admission depends on the candidate’s performance in the written test and the candidates need to apply individually to the participating institutes.
  • The selection process and the eligibility criteria will be different for different institutions.
  • The applicants, who wish to apply into more institutions besides the 5 institutes they have applied into, will need to fill a separate form and pay Rs. 118 for every college through a Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi. 
  • The applicants will need to write their Name and MAT Form No. on the backside of the Demand Draft.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is the apex body for management in India with over 37000 members and close to 6000 corporate /institutional members through 68 Local Management Associations affiliated to it.
