Manipal MET 2024 Exam Pattern contains exam information such as exam mode, marking scheme, exam duration, exam date, etc. Manipal Academy of Higher Education conducts its online entrance exam. MET (Manipal Entrance Test) 2024 is a university level entrance exam conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). Candidates must qualify for the Manipal MET /OET (Online Entrance Test) exam to get admission to various UG, PG and Super Speciality courses in the fields of Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy and other courses. The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is a computer-based test (CBT) that is conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The exam is held in April every year.
The MET exam pattern is as follows:
- Total number of questions: 200
- Number of questions per section: 60 questions each in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English
- Marks per question: 2 marks each
- Total marks: 400
- Exam duration: 3 hours

Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2024 Exam Pattern
The candidates should know the Manipal MET 2024 Exam Pattern before starting their preparation for the exam. The MET exam pattern varies for different courses. The candidates must refer to the information given below about Manipal Entrance Test 2024:
- MET 2024 will be conducted through online mode (Computer Based Test).
- The medium of the exam will be English language only.
- Marking Scheme: +4 for every correct answer, 0 for every unattempted question.
- On completion of the test & submission, the test score will be displayed on the screen immediately. The test score can also be verified online, 24 hours after the test completion
- Rough sheets will be provided during the test and must be returned on completion of the test.
- For multiple attempts, the best of the scores will be considered for the merit list.
- Manipal Entrance exam Negative Marking: -1 for every wrong answer

Here are some additional details about the exam pattern for different courses offered by MAHE:
- Undergraduate courses: The MET exam pattern for undergraduate courses is the same as mentioned above. However, the eligibility criteria for different courses may vary. For example, to be eligible for the BTech program, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Postgraduate courses: The MET exam pattern for postgraduate courses is different for different programs. For example, the MET exam for the MBA program consists of two sections:
- Section 1: Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning (75 questions)
- Section 2: General Management (125 questions) The exam is of 3 hours duration and the difficulty level is moderate.
