What is Manipal Entrance Exam?

Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is an entrance examination conducted by Manipal University for admission to the various programs offered by its faculties like medical, engineering and others. It is a national level exam for which students from all over India can apply. The exam tests knowledge of subjects prevalent in school-level education and also tests the candidate's aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Manipal MET 2024 Application Form

 Candidates can check MAHE MET 2024 application form details  below:

• MET 2024 application form will be available on the official website of the competent authority.
• The candidates will have to submit the form online only as no other mode will be accepted.
• Multiple forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.
• A valid e-mail Id and mobile number must be provided to get all the relevant details either via SMS or mail id.
• Candidates have to upload the scanned clear passport photograph & signature in JPG/JPEG format.
• The application fee will not be accepted via Money Order, Cheque, Pay Order, IPO, etc.
• The application form must be complete in all respect to avoid the cancellation of candidature.
• Take multiple photocopies of the filled application form and keep it safe.
• The candidates are advised not to send the xerox of the online application form & fee payment receipt to the office of the conducting body.

  • The candidate can do the payment by using a Credit card/Debit card or Net Banking.

  • The candidate can pay the fee by using a Demand Draft (DD) which was issued in the favour of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, payable at Manipal or Udupi.

Manipal MET 2024 Registration Process

• Step 1: Registration
  • Firstly, Candidates are required to visit the MU official website.
  • Then, click on the registration tab to register for MET exam.
  • Fill the basic details and complete the registration via online mode
• Step 2: Login and Filling the Details
  •  After registration, candidates will receive the registration id and password
  • Candidates have to login via the login details to fill the form further.
  • Fill the academic, contact, course and address details as per the documents.
• Step 3: Uploading Documents:

Manipal Entrance Test 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Tech:
  • The candidate must have passed their class 12^th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics, English and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical vocational subject.
  • Must have minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
• For B.Tech Lateral Entry:
  • The candidate must have passed a 3-year Diploma granted by the board of technical examination with a minimum of 45% in BSc Degree with Mathematics in 12th standard.
• For M.Tech:
  • The applicants must have done BE/ B.Tech or any other equivalent degree with at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
• For BBA:
  • The candidates who must have passed the 12^th or an equivalent exam from a recognized board and have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are eligible.
• For BA Media & Communication:
  • The candidate must have passed 12th in the art group with a minimum of 45%.
• For B.Pharm:
  • The candidate must have passed 12th with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects securing a minimum of 50%.

Manipal MET 2024 Slot Booking

According to Manipal the MAHE MET slot booking 2024, the candidate's examination centre will be decided by the conducting body. Slot Booking for MET 2024 will be through a Online Test Slot Booking System (OTBS) which will open 2 weeks before MET 2024. If candidates preferred centre seats are filled then the conducting body will decide the centre for those candidates. Check details below:

• The candidate who successfully registered will able to book their slot as per their preference.
• Candidates have to log in to the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) with OTBS User Id.
• Booking will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis and subject to slot availability.
• A slot once booked, CANNOT be changed under any circumstance. By default, MET 2024 test fee is part of the application fee. If a particular MET 2024 has a second attempt (which is optional), additional fee has to be paid at the time of booking the 2nd attempt slot.
• The OTBS was available only after the completion of the application process and was active after the last date of application submission.
• If the candidate is not satisfied with their performance then the candidate can again book the slot for the 2nd attempt entrance test by paying Rs. 1400.

Manipal MET 2024 Admit Card

• MET 2024 Hall Ticket will release after 24 hours of the slot booking.
• Candidates can download the admit card from the official website itself.
• A soft copy of the admit card emailed to the registered email is of the candidates.
• The candidates needed to bring one hard copy of the admit card and one valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Pan Card, Voter ID card, Passport) on the day of the examination.
• After downloading the admit card, candidates should check all the details printed on the admit card should be correct.
