CTET 2019 result is announced on 27 December 2019. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 is organized by Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi (CBSE) at the national level for teachers. This exam is held twice in a year in July and December. The candidates who want to make their career in the field of teaching in Government Sector need to score 60% in this exam and hence qualify this exam. The certificate obtained on qualifying this exam holds validity for 7 years

Important Updates of CTET 2019

  • CTET 2019 result has been released on 27 December 2019.
  • CTET 2019 December session admit card is available on the official website.
  • 30-09-2019 is the last date of the CTET application form.
  • CTET 2019 December session application forms last date has been extended till 25 September 2019.
  • Correction in Application Form started from 04 October 2019.
  • 10 October 2019 is the last date of the Application form correction. 

 

 

CTET 2019 Application Form

CTET Application Form 2019 has been released on 19 August 2019 for December session. Interested candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible to avoid the last-minute rush. The candidates need to follow the steps given below to fill the CTET application form:

  • Firstly the candidates need to go the official website.
  • Then the candidates have to click the “CTET December 2019 Application Form” option.
  • The Applicant need to do the registration. In registration part, the candidates need to fill all the details asked in the application form such as personal and educational qualification details.
  • Uploading the scanned photograph (4 KB -100 KB) and signature (1 KB- 25 KB) in JPG file format is the next step.
  • Paying the application fee online is the next step. Application fees can be paid through credit card, debit card, net banking or e-challan.
  • The candidate must get a print out of Confirmation Page along with Candidate Copy of E-Challan (if fee paid through Syndicate or Canara E-Challan) for record and future reference.

  • By Online-mode (Payment by Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking).

Result Declaration

Within 06 (six) Week from the date of conduct of the Examination.

In case, the confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Joint Secretary (CTET) of CBSE. The contact timings to contact the same are between 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs from 04-10-2019 (Friday) to 10-10-2019 (Thursday. Candidate has to come along with proof of payment of fee i.e. candidate copy of EChallan if payment made through E-Challan

CTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check their CTET 2019 eligibility criteria in the given mentioned information:

Age: There is no age limit set for this exam.

CTET 2019 Candidate Eligibility For Classes 1 to 5: Primary Stage

  • Candidate must score at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent. Should have passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • Candidate must score 45% marks at least in Senior Secondary or its equivalent. Passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), by the NCTE.

OR

  • Candidate must passed Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks. Must passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

OR

  • Candidate must score 50% marks (at least) in Senior Secondary or its equivalent. Must passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

  • Candidates who are graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
  • The one who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution will be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.

CTET 2019 Candidate Eligibility For Classes 6 to 8: Elementary Stage

  • Candidates who graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • Candidate must score 50% marks (at least) in graduation and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

  • Candidate must score 45% marks (minimum) in graduation. Passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

  • Candidate must passed Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

OR

  • Candidate must score At least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

  • Candidates who graduated with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

OR

  • Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. The Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses specified in the NCTE Notification is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

Relaxation in Eligibility

Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled.

CTET 2019 Admit Card

The CTET 2019 Admit Card will be available by November 2019. The candidates need to download the admit card online. The candidates need to go to the official website and enter their registration number, Date of Birth to download their Admit Card. Please read the below-given points regarding details

  • Candidates must immediately contact CTET unit for necessary corrections if any discrepancy is found in admit card regarding particulars of candidate, photograph and signature or any other information vary from the confirmation page.
  • In case confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Joint Secretary, CTET Unit.
  • The candidates need to report at the Exam Centre 90 minutes before the start of the examination. Candidate reporting after 9:30 AM will not be allowed to sit in Paper 1 and candidate reporting after 2:00 PM will not be allowed to sit in Paper 2.

Note:

  • For any other exam candidates will have to choose either mathematics and science or social studies/social science.
  • The candidate will have to give both Paper 1 as well as Paper 2 if they wish to become the teacher for both the levels.

CTET 2019 Qualifying Marks

A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.

  • School managements (Government, local bodies, government-aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., by their extant reservation policy.
  • Should give weightage to the CTET scores in the recruitment process, however, qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Validity Period of CTET Certificate

The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate will be seven years from the date of result announcement. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person can again sit for CTET exam for improvement in scores, even if he/she is qualified the same before. Candidate can download CTET Certificate.
