AP ICET 2023 Syllabus for Section A, B and C are provided with AP ICET Exam Pattern. AP ICET also known as Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test is a state level entrance examination conducted in online mode by Andhra university,visakhapatnam on behalf of A.P. State Council of higher Education  for admission into the courses of M.B.A and M.C.A. in Andhra university constituent and affiliated colleges.The requirements of the entrance test states that the candidate should be a Indian national and must full fill all the local/non-local  status requirements as mentioned in the Andhra Pradesh Educational institutions(Regulation of admission).The candidates must satisfy all the rules of the concerned university where they are willing to get admission.
Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test Syllabus

The paper consists of 3 sections, with Section A related to Analytical Ability, Problem Solving and Data Analysis, Section B related to Communication ability and Section C related to Mathematical ability , Arithmetical ability, Algebraical and Geometrical ability and Statistical ability. The said exam of AP ICET will be conducted in both English and Telugu languages.The duration of the entrance test will be of 150 minutes, that is of 2 hours 30 minutes. The entrance test will be conducted in online mode in Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam.

AP ICET  2023 Syllabus 

There are three sections present in the question paper of AP ICET, namely Section A, Section B, Section C, with a total of 200 questions.

Section A: Analytical Ability:
  1. Data Sufficiency: A question is stated in the question paper followed by data which is given in the form of 2 statements and those are marked as (i) and (ii). Then the correct answer is chosen from the question paper accordingly. If statement (i) is  sufficient enough to satisfy the question then, choice no. (1) is correct, if the statement (ii) is sufficient enough to satisfy the question then choice (2) is correct, if both the statements are correct then choice (3) is correct and if none of the statements are able to satisfy the question then choice (4) is correct.
  2. Problem Solving
  3. Sequence and Series: The syllabus of the Sequence and series include comparison of numbers and alphabets, completing the blank spaces available and followed by the pattern in the form of  a:b::c:d relationship; odd one out; Omitted numbers in a particular sequence or a particular series.
  4. Data Analysis: The syllabus of Data and Analysis include, the data given in a table, graph,bar diagram, Pie Chart, Venn Diagram or a passage is to be analysed and then the questions related to the given data are to be answered online.
  5. Coding and Decoding Problems: The topics related to Coding and Decoding include, A code of the English Alphabet is given. A given word or a group of word letters are to be coded or decoded based on the given code or codes.
  6. Data, Time & Arrangement Problems: The topics related to Data, Time & Arrangement Problems include, Calendar problems, clock problems, blood relationships, arrivals,departures and schedules, seating arrangements, symbol and notation interpretation.
Section-B: Communication Ability:
Objectives of the specified entrance test of AP ICET: 

Candidates will be tested on the following abilities to:

  1. Identifying Vocabulary that are used in day-to-day communication.
  2. Understanding the functional use of grammar in day-to-day communication and also with the reference in the business contexts.
  3. Identifying the basic terminologies  and concepts in computer and business context( i.e letters, reports, memoranda, agenda, minutes, etc.).
  4. Understanding written texts and drawing inferences.
