What is Amrita University AEEE 2027?

AEEE 2027 Application Form

• AEEE 2027 application forms are expected to be available from 18 November 2026.
• The application form will be released in online mode.
• Candidates can fill the online application form and keep it for future reference.
• Candidates must submit their application form before the last date.
• Keep a copy of the submitted application form for further use.

How To Apply for AEEE 2027?

• Candidates first need to register themselves on the official website portal of the university.
• The candidates after completing the registration process need to fill in all the details in the application form.
• Candidates will also be asked to upload the scanned photograph and signature in the appropriate format, while filling the application form. 
• Finally, the students need to take out a printout of the application form which would be required during the further admission process.

• Candidates can be procured the OMR application form in person from the counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore & Chennai on producing a demand draft (DD) for Rs. 1000/- in favour of "Amrita School of Engineering", Payable at Coimbatore.

AEEE 2027 Application Fee 

• The candidates who wish to appear in the AEEE exam to get admission to Amrita University need to pay the fees once they complete filling the details.
• AEEE Registration fee for the exam depends on the examination chosen by the applicants.

• Candidates who have appeared in Phase I of AEEE 2024 examination can reappear for Phase II examination by just paying a nominal fee of INR 600/- only.
• Candidates are advised to browse the official website portal for further updates in future.

• AEEE 2027 Application fee for an online application can only be paid via the following modes:
  • Online mode:
    • Net-banking/ Credit card/ Debit card.
  • Offline mode:
    • Through Post Office/ Institutes.

AEEE 2027 Eligibility Criteria 

• Qualification Requirement:
  • Candidates currently studying in Class 12, as well as those who have already passed Class 12, are eligible to apply. Students appearing in the 2027 board exams or those who passed in 2025 or 2026 may apply for AEEE 2027.
• Age Criteria:
  • The candidates should have their date of birth on or after 1st July 2002. There is age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
• Minimum Marks requirement:
  • A pass in 12^th class or equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 55% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.  
    
• Compulsory Subjects:
  • The candidates need to have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and also need to have 55% marks in these three subjects.

AEEE 2027 Exam Pattern

• Exam Mode: The AEEE entrance exam will be conducted in both online as well as offline modes. 
• Question Type: The question paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) only.
• Several questions: The question paper will have a total of 100 questions. 
• Duration: The exam will be for 150 minutes (two and a half fours).
• Marking Scheme: The candidates will be given 3 marks for the correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer and 0 will be given for the questions which have not been attempted.
• Pen and Paper Test (PPT) will be conducted only in Tamil Nadu, one slot on one day.
• Computer Based Test (CBT), on 5 days with 3 slots on each day.
• Negative Marking:
  • For each correct answer: + 03 marks will be awarded.
  • For each wrong answer: - 01 is deducted from the total marks.

AEEE 2027 Preparation Tips

• The candidates need to be focused and must not deviate their attention from their studies to any other unnecessary means during the course of preparation.
• The entrants need to make a proper timetable and make sure that they implement the time table.
• Applicants need to practice the questions of the previous year and all the sample papers they can.
• The aspirants must devote equal time to each subject and focus on the subject in which they are weak.
• The entrants also need to take a balanced diet to be healthy.
• Applicants also need to drink plenty of water to keep them hydrated.
• The aspirants can do yoga or meditation to manage their stress.
• The applicants must solve mock tests and previous year question papers.
