Vishwakarma University[VUPUNE] was established as the State Private University under Act No. XXXVIII of Government of Maharashtra dated 3rd May 2017. The university is recognized and regulated by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Vishwakarma University on its own is allowed to admit the students and to design and implement the curriculum, conduct exams, and award the degrees. The mission of the university is to emerge as the Global Knowledge Enterprise in the Asia Pacific Region.
