Mysore University M.Tech, MS, M.Arch, MBA & MCA Admission 2023
The university also offers M.Tech, MS, MBA, MCA and M.Arch in different disciplines in full-time mode at PG level. MS, M.Tech (Urban & Regional Planning/ Material Science) and MBA (General) admission is on the basis of candidate score in university entrance exam i.e. PGEE while admission to M.Tech (CST/ CCT), MCA and MBA (Agri-Business) is offered on the basis of KEA exam. UOM Application Process 2023
Candidates have to follow the steps given below to apply for admission at University of Mysore:
- Step I: Visit the University of Mysore official website.
- Step II: Click on the link displaying 'Application Form' on the homepage of the portal.
- Step III: Fill the application form and upload the necessary documents as mentioned below:
- Mark sheet and passing certificates of Class 12 or Graduation (whichever applicable)
- Transfer certificate and migration certificate
- Community certificate (To avail relaxation)
- Domicile certificate (if required)
- GATE/ NATA or other entrance exam scorecard
- Experience certificate (wherever applicable)
- Step III: Pay the application fee of Rs 400 for PG courses, Rs 300 for Diploma and UG courses through Net Banking/ Credit or Debit card.
- Step IV: Submit the duly filled application form and download & print the application form for future reference
Mysore University M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2023
Mysore University offers Ph.D. and M.Phil. programs at the Research level. Candidate must have Master’s degree in the relevant discipline for admission in these courses. University conducts its own entrance exam followed by an interview round for the admission purpose.
Ph.D. entrance test is conducted once in a year during the months of September and October. The entrance test is of total 100 marks. Candidates have to secure minimum 55 marks (50 marks for reserved categories) out of 100 to apply for admission.

Exemption form Ph.D. Entrance Test:
- M.Phil. qualified candidates can apply for Ph.D. without giving the entrance exam.
- Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF) Fellowships OR Lectureship through UGC/CSIR NET Examination/ K-SET/ GATE OR Government/Aided College Teachers under FIP can also apply for admission without Ph.D. entrance test.
- Foreign Nationals with an Indian or Foreign degree can also apply directly for provisional registration without any university entrance exam.
Mysore University PhD Application Process
Download and fill the application form. The application fee for Ph.D. is Rs 2000 for General category and for SC/ST candidates the application fee is Rs 750. The application fee can be paid through DD. Candidates have to submit the following documents along with the application form:
- Marks sheet and passing certificates of qualifying examinations
- Transfer Certificate and Migration certificate
- Community Certificate (For OC candidates community certificate not required)
- Certificates for Special categories, if required
- Nativity Certificate if required
- GATE/ CSIR NET/ UGC NET or equivalent scorecard (if applicable)
- Experience Certificate (if applicable)
Mysore University MPhil Application Process
Candidates seeking admission in M.Phil. course, have to submit the application form by post along with a Demand draft of Rs 300 (Rs 100 towards the postal charges) drawn in favour of “The Finance Officer, UOM, Mysore”. Those who download the application form online are required to send the Demand draft of Rs 200 drawn in favor of “The Finance Officer, UOM, Mysore” along with completed application form and documents to the following address:

In addition to various regular courses, University of Mysore offers admission in various UG and PG programs in multiple disciplines through distance learning mode. University is supposed to release the notification for admission to distance programs in the month of May and June.
