The University of Mumbai is mandated by the University Grants Commission and was established in the year 1857. Its campus spans 230 acres and Is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. University offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, M.Phil, Doctorate, Diploma in Arts, Science, Commerce, Social Work, Law, etc. in different departments. Admission for BE/B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Text-based on the score of MHT CET and for BHM based on the MAH B.HMCT CET score. Admission in all degrees based on the relevant Common Entrance Test(CET). Candidates are allotted seats for admission in Ph.D./M.Phil/D.Sc based on written test followed by Interview round.

Mumbai University Admission Process
Mumbai University 2022 Admission Process is supposed to be started in the first or second week of June 2022. Admission in management courses is on the basis of the candidate's score in MUCMET entrance test which is organized by the University. Candidates can get admission in UG law programmes by the score of the MUCLAT entrance test. For other courses, admission is on the basis of a national-level entrance test.
After the entrance test, students be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the personal interview and group discussion conducted by the university. Candidates shortlisted for admission have to visit the university for further admission procedures with the set of documents required by the university admission office. Candidates who will not submit their application fee within the prescribed time period. then admission and seat of such candidate will be allotted to the next candidate in the order of merit list.
Mumbai University 2022 Counselling
After the declaration of entrance exam results, Mumbai University 2022 Counselling process will start. For counselling, candidates have to visit the venue within the stipulated time period along with the counselling letter. University will release the counselling letter in online mode at their official website for the shortlisted candidates.
Candidates can choose course and college as per their choice and freeze their seats in the counselling for his/her admission. Applicants have to submit the counselling fee as well for participating in the Mumbai university counselling procedure.
