Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) is an agricultural university that was established in 1982. The university is located in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir. SKUAST manages its academic operation through 13 research Centers/ Stations/ Institutes, 13 Krishi Vigyan Kendras and 01 Extension Training Centre placed in different districts of Kashmir and Ladakh Divisions of the State. SKUAST Kashmir offers numerous courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in agricultural science and technology. In addition, the university also offers a PhD programme with five different specializations.

Durations of B.V.Sc. & A.H is 5 years 6 months including internship. The others undergraduate courses need 4 years to be completed.

The duration of all the PG courses is 2 years or four semesters. Candidates are required to complete the required course work and thesis of research work to get the master's degree.

- Candidates must have earned a master's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.
- The candidate's selection to the PhD programme is based on his or her performance in the UET and an interview conducted by the college officials.
How to Apply for SKUAST 2022
- SKUAST Srinagar publishes an application form for several undergraduate and postgraduate degrees on their website. Candidates that meet the eligibility requirements may apply for admission.
- They must pay INR 1,500 for undergraduate courses and INR 3000 for graduate and doctoral studies using a credit/debit card, net banking, or e-challan generated when filling out the online application form.
- Candidates must apply for the University Entrance Test in order to be admitted to SKUAST Srinagar's programmes.
