Candidates are asked to read the following points
- The MHT-CET/ JEE Main/ PERA CET exam is used to select applicants for the B.Tech programme.
In the case of an empty seat, the institution may also accept BITSAT, VITEEE, and MU OET test marks under the All India Quota. - Candidates must pay a Seat Acceptance fee of INR 1,20,000/- by POS or Demand Draft in the name of "Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University" to confirm their enrollment.
- Candidates must also submit all essential documents in their original form.
B.Tech. Lateral Entry Selection The merit in the qualifying examination determines admission to B.Tech. Lateral Entry.
Note
- If a seat remains vacant as a result of non-allotment or non-reporting for admission, it will be considered for allotment in the next round of counselling.
- Diploma candidates will only be considered for allotment in the penultimate round of counselling for First Year Engineering and Technology Admissions.

Note For Maharashtra State Canditates
- Applicants must have completed a 10+2 programme with Physics and Mathematics as required topics, as well as one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational.
- Candidates for the Maharashtra State Open Category must have received 50 percent in aggregate (45 percent for the Maharashtra State Backward Class and PWD category only) in all of the above subjects.
- Those who have completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology with a minimum of 50% (45% for Backward Classes and PWDs in Maharashtra alone) are also eligible.
- Applicants who have received an IB Diploma or IB Diploma Programme (i.e. IB Certificate) as a qualification for entry to the professional course at the institute and have passed Physics and Mathematics at Higher Level (HL) with a minimum score of 24 credits are also eligible to apply.
Key Points
- Chemistry at Higher Level is required for admission to Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Polymer Engineering.
- Other necessary prerequisites (such as CAS, TOK, and EE) should have been completed by students who were awarded the IB Diploma.
- For all BTech programmes, the institution has identified new-age courses such as Linux, Python, AI & ML, IoT, and Data Science.
- A minor in Computer Engineering is available to BTech students who are not majoring in Computer Science
- Engineering (CE). To complete the minor, the student must complete an extra 20 credits in CE.
These credits are in addition to the 168 credits required by the student's admission to the BTech programme.
Seats from the All-India Quota The eligibility requirements for All India Candidates and Maharashtra State Candidates are the same. The only distinction is that applicants with a Diploma in Engineering and Technology are ineligible to apply. B.Tech. Lateral Entry Eligibility To be eligible for admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates must have completed a Diploma in a relevant discipline with at least 45 percent (40 percent for Backward Class and PWD category).
