Mahatma Gandhi University Admission 2023

• UG Admission takes place through MGU-CAT.
• For MBA admission, MAT/ SAT/ CAT score is valid.
• Candidates who have a valid UPSEE / DCE / CAT / MAT / SAT / GMAT / ENAT / EMAT scores need not appear for the MGU-GET.

• The MGU GET can be given either in the online mode or offline mode, at the University.

MU University M.Phil. And Ph.D. Admission 2023

Mahatma Gandhi University offers a one-year M.Phil and part-time and full-time Ph.D. program at the doctoral level. Selection will be done based on MGU GET 2023/2023 scores. Candidates can check other details related to PG admission from the following table:

MU University Admission 2023 Scholarships

The University offers the Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship under category 1 and category 2. Preference will be given to candidates whose family income is less than INR 2,50,000/- per annum. No caste-based preference will be given. Candidates studying graduation, post-graduation, and Diploma are all eligible to apply for the scholarships. The details of the following two categories are given below:-

• The minimum qualification required is 10+2(in any stream).
• Only Female candidates will be eligible in this category.
• Preference will be given to candidates whose family annual income is less than `2,50,000 belonging to any category (Gen/SC/ST/OBC etc.).

The selection of candidates will be based on their interviews.

• The registration fee to apply this scholarship program is Rs 100 only.
• Successful Candidates under this scholarship program will be fully exempted from course fees & will also be provided Books/ Stationery etc. 

• The minimum qualification required is 10+2(in any stream)
• Preference will be given to candidates whose family annual income is less than `2,50,000 belonging to any category (Gen/SC/ST/OBC etc.). 

The selection of candidates will be based on their marks in written tests and personal interviews. 

Successful Candidates under this scholarship program will be awarded a waiver of 20% of the course fee. 

MGU University Application Process 2023

Application Process

Candidates can apply to all the courses at MGU Meghalaya admission 2023 through the online mode. Candidates have to follow the steps given below for registration: 

• Visit the official website of the University.
• Click on the “Admissions” button.
• Click on the “Apply Now” button.
• Click on the “New Admissions” button.
• Click on the appropriate category and proceed to fill out the form.
• An application fee is INR 1000/- and can be paid online, through credit card/debit card / net banking.
• Submit the application form.

• XIIth Class Marksheet/Certificates
• Score Card
• Certificates of Transfer
• Address Proof
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Passport size Photograph

MU Meghalaya Admission Process

Candidates can opt for any of the following Admission Processes:

Step 1:-

The Application fee of Rs.1000/- for MGU-GET can be deposited through the below-mentioned payment modes.

• Depositing cash at Mahatma Gandhi University campus.
• Depositing Cash at your nearest PNB/Axis Bank branch.
• The demand draft must be drawn in favor of "Mahatma Gandhi University" payable at Meghalaya deposited at the University Campus.
  (Note: Write your Name, Father's Name, Contact Number & Course opted at the back of the DD)
• The candidate will be eligible for Counselling and Personal Interview (PI) ONLY after submitting the DD at University.
• Application fees can also be made through Credit Card/Debit card.

Step 2(A):-

A candidate who has already appeared and qualified National Level Test.

After submission of the application form and admission fees, candidates will be called for Counselling and Personal Interview (PI) as per the merit list uploaded on our website.

Step 2(B):-

A candidate who will appear in MGU-GET

After submission of the application form and admission fees, the candidate is eligible to appear in MGU-GET at Mahatma Gandhi University Campus (Meghalaya) or any approved test center of MGU.

• Candidates who will qualify for the exam will be called for Counselling and Personal Interview (PI).
• The details of the MGU-GET process are available at approved test centers of MGU.
• Do remember the user ID and password of MGU-GET as they will be needed at the time of the online exam.
• After receiving of application fee of ₹`1000, the university will send confirmation of the candidates to its exam center.
• Finally, the exam center will activate the Online Examination Booking System (OEBS) for the candidates.
