MDU Rohtak Admission 2023 for UG Courses

The Maharshi Dayanand University offers various undergraduate courses viz; B.Tech, BA-LLB, LLB, and B.Pharma, seeking candidates can check the details below in the given table below:

• B.Sc in Home Science is offered to women candidates only.
• Candidates seeking admission in B.Sc Non-medical group and the medical group should have passed in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology respectively.

MDU B.Tech, B.Pharm & Integrated Courses Admission 2023

MDU Rohtak offers admission in B.Tech, B.Pharm programmes at the UG level and 5-year integrated courses in various disciplines including Law, Mathematics, English, Economics, Public Administration, Commerce, Management, and Hotel Management. For B. Tech and B.Pharm admission, candidates must have secured at least 45% and 50% marks, respectively, in class 12 with the required subjects. For admission in integrated courses, the candidate must have passed class 12 from a recognized board of education.

Admission in B.Tech depends on the basis of counselling conducted by the Haryana State Technical Counseling Society (HSTES), Panchkula. Candidates with a good JEE Main score can also apply for counselling. Selection to B.Pharm depends on the entrance test conducted by the concerned department. For Lateral Entry admission in B.Pharm, the candidate score in class 12 will be considered. Admission of candidates to integrated courses depends on the candidate's merit in the qualifying examination as well as marks scored in the entrance examination.

• MDU also offers admission in B.Tech Lateral Entry on the basis of candidate performance in Haryana LEET.
• For B. Pharm admission, candidates should be of 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the year of admission.

MDU M.Sc & M.Pharm Admission 2023

MDU offers admission in the various specialization of M.Pharm and M.Sc in life sciences, forensic sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Admissions in these courses are based on the merit of the MDU Common Entrance Test (MDUCEE). Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant or concerned discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the aggregate or equivalent exam for admission in PG Courses. After the declaration of MDUCEE results, candidates have to register online for participating in centralized admission counselling. The final selection in PG programmes is done through centralized admission counselling.

MDU Rohtak PG Admission 2023

Maharshi Dayanand University offers admission in several other PG courses such as M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.A, M.Com, M.Ed., M.L.I.Sc, etc. For admissions into these courses candidate merit in the qualifying examination or entrance, tests will be considered by the university concerned department. University also conducts online centralized counselling on the basis of merit determined by composite marks of the candidates in the MDUCEE as well as Group Discussion & the Personal Interview.

• If seats are left vacant after GATE qualified candidates, then the academic merit in the qualifying examinations shall be considered for admission.
• Candidates have to fill a common admission form for M.A. Psychology / Applied Psychology for which the Department of Psychology conducts a common entrance test.
• MCA and LEET admissions will be done by HSTES, for which candidates have to register online.

MDU MPhil and Ph.D. Admission 2023

At the research level, MDU University offers admission in M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees in a number of subject specializations. All the candidates must appear in the entrance test conducted by the concerned department followed by final selection through the personal interview for admission purposes.

The following categories of candidates are exempted from appearing in the entrance test for PhD program and award of URS:

1. UGC NET/CSIR/JRF/GATE/ GPAT or any other similar examination/ SLET (Haryana State) qualified candidates.
2. Candidates who have passed Pre-Ph.D. /M.Phil. /Ph.D. coursework of M. D. University, Rohtak can also apply without an entrance test.

MDU DDE Admission 2023

Apart from regular courses, MDU Rohtak also offers admission to distance learning courses. Directorate of Distance Education, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU DDE) offers various courses at UG and PG level in selected specializations. Admission to distance education courses is on the basis of candidate merit in the qualifying examination. Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognized board for admission to bachelor's degree courses and must have completed a graduate degree to apply for postgraduate courses.

Interested candidates can apply for admission to courses offered by MDU CEE through the MDU website. Candidates have to fill the online application form and submit the application fees through e-challan at any branch of Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank. MDU students enrolling for PG program have to follow different steps while filling the application form as compared to students from other board or universities. Candidates have to send the duly filled application form along with requisite documents to the following address:

MDU Admission Process

University will release the admission prospectus along with all the details regarding the courses in online mode at MDU official website i.e.. Candidates may fill the application form online and submit the application fees via debit/credit card. Candidates have to pay the processing charges for submission of the application for admission will be charged as Rs 600 for general category candidates and Rs 150 (for SC/BC candidates of Haryana only).

Before applying online, candidates must be prepared by the following things at hand:

• Education Qualification & Weightage details/documents (Matriculation, Senior Secondary, and Degree), Aadhaar Card Number, etc.
• Scanned images of photograph, signature, and thumb impression should be in JPG/JPEG format. The size of the signature and photo image/thumb impression should be less than 30 kB and 50 KB respectively. 
• Keep the Username and Password safe for subsequent login.
• Applicants can pay the registration Fee through e-challan at any branch of Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank

After filling the online/downloaded application form, the candidate has to send the duly signed copy along with necessary documents and required fee to the concerned Department/Office within 5 days of the last date of submission of the online application form.
