IIMT University Admission 2023 for both UG and PG courses is based on merit in their last qualifying examination, as well as their performance in personal interviews and/or group discussions. For admission into M. Pharma courses, applicants must have cleared GPAT. Additionally, all those interested in pursuing a PG course must have a bachelor's degree in the subject of their choice. IIMT University is a private university located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established in the year 2016 by an act passed by the Uttar Pradesh assembly. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, New Delhi.
The university provides Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree in the field of Engineering, Commerce & Management, Computer Science & Applications, Legal Studies, Education, Hotel Management & Tourism, Pharmacy, Allied Medical Science & Nursing, Journalism & Mass Communication, Sciences, Home Science and Physical Education. IIMTU, Meerut will conduct a university-based entrance test for providing admission to its various courses. Whereas, candidates with UGC NET/CSIR-UGC NET or GATE score are exempted from the entrance test conduct by the university. For admission in M.Pharm, candidates need to qualify the GPAT examination.

- JRF-NET/GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from PhD entrance test.
- A relaxation of 5% of marks, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19 September 1992.
- Candidates appearing in the final semester of qualifying examinations may also apply.
PhD Entrance Test
- An entrance test will consist of two sections. Section I: Research Methodology (50 marks) and Section II: Subject-specific test, based on Post Graduate syllabi of the concerned/ allied subject (50 marks).
- Total marks: 100.
- The question paper will contain 100 (50 in each section) objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Duration - 02 hours
- Qualifying cut-off marks in Entrance Test shall be 50%.
- All the qualified candidates will be called for interview along with the candidates exempted from the entrance test.
