GM University Admission 2022 UG Admission 2022

GM University offers different UG courses like B.A, B.Sc., etc. for over +3 years with various specializations. The eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have done 10+2 exams from a recognized board or its equivalent. The selection criteria and other details can be found below in the table:

• Candidates who have passed their Class 12^th in Science can apply for both the Integrated courses whereas, the candidates who have passed their Class 12^th in Arts stream, can only apply for only B.A.-B.Ed. Integrated program only. 
• A candidate who has already done a bachelor’s degree is not eligible to apply for the integrated program. 

GMU Sambalpur Admission 2022 Postgraduate Courses

GM University offers PG courses like M.Sc., M.A etc. for 2 years. The University offers this course under various specializations. An Entrance Exam has also been incorporated to shortlist candidates for admission. University will prepare the final merit list for admission on the basis of career marks & marks secured in the entrance examination with weightage 30:70. The eligibility criteria for admission in PG are that the candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent. GMU Odisha MBA Admission 2022 

Gangadhar Meher University offers MBA in Financial Management, which is by applying through an online admission portal. The eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have a qualified Bachelor's degree in any discipline. For MBA in Financial Management, whose admission is through an online portal, the selection will be done based on marks obtained in the career as well as marks in the entrance exam. GM University M.Phil. Admission 2022

GM University offers a degree of M.Phil. in 15 disciplines and PhD in 8 disciplines. The eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have done a Master's Degree in the relevant discipline. The selection will be based on the following basis:

• Entrance Test - 50%
• Career Assessment - 40%
• Interview/ Viva-voce - 10%

Reservation Policy for the number of candidates in each subject:

• General Category – 3
• SC Candidates – 1
• ST Candidates – 2
• UGC/ NET/CSIR NET/ TF Candidates – 2

• UGC/CSIR (JRF) exam qualified candidates & NET/SLET/GATE/ Teachers Fellowship holders are exempted from giving ET but they will have to appear for the viva/ interview conducted by the university.
• The candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale in their M.Phil., will also be exempted from appearing in the entrance test.

The selection will be based on the following basis:

• Weightage on academic record - 80%
• Viva-voce performance – 20%

GM University Admission 2022 Application Procedure

Candidates can follow these steps to fill the form of GM University for all courses offered by the University:

• Visit the official website of the university and download the form application in pdf.
• Fill the application form and take a printout of the form.
• Submit the application form along with the application fee either in cash or through a bank draft drawn in favor of ‘Comptroller of Finance, Gangadhar Meher University, Sambalpur’, payable at Sambalpur.
• Documents should be attached along with the application fee.
• For MBA offline course after getting a bank draft made from the bank, submit the hard copy of the application form along with the necessary documents and the bank draft, either at the University counter (08 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. on all working days) or by speed post/ Regd. post on or before the application due date of June 16, 2022, at the following address.

Application Fee

• SC/ST applicants selected for admission on a merit basis shall not be counted against reserved seats.
•  No seats shall remain reserved for any category beyond the normal date of admission.
• . In case there are no applicants in any of the reserved categories, the seats will be filled up by the general category applicants.

Seat Reservation

University reserves seats for candidates belonging to different categories. Candidates of reserved categories can check the reservation percentage set by the university from the following section:

• Out of the total sanctioned strength, 16.25% and 22.5% seats shall be reserved for SC and ST applicants respectively.
• The reserved seats are not interchangeable between SC&ST.
• SC/ST applicants selected for admission on merit shall not be counted against reserved seats.
• Additional seats for SC & ST students will be provided as per Govt. rules. 

Out of total sanctioned seats, 5% of the seats will be reserved for PWD candidates with the extent of disability, not below 40% (Blindness & low vision, hard of hearing, locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, leprosy cured, dwarfism, autism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy, specific learning disability, and mental illness).

1% of the sectioned seats is reserved for Self/Children/Wife/Husband of ExServiceman, Serving Defense Personnel & the Children of Martyrs.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the merit list released by the university for admission:

• Visit the GMU Odisha official website.
• Go to the examination tab and click on the merit list 2022.
• Select the particular stream.
• At last, click on the link displaying the course in which candidates have enrolled.
• A list containing the name of the applicants along with other important details will be displayed on the screen.

Documents required at the time of admission:

Candidates have to bring the following documents at the time of admission for verification purposes. 

• Original and photocopy of Certificates & Mark sheet starting from 10th (Matriculation) onwards in support of their qualification.
• Total fees for admission (To be paid in the UCO Bank, Budharaja, G.M. University, Sambalpur Campus in Cash).
• Three passport size color photographs
• Original School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the Institution last attended.
• Original Conduct Certificate issued by the Institution last attended.
• Original Migration Certificate, if any
• Undertaking form (Anti-ragging form) available in the Prospectus.
