DSNLU Visakhapatnam Semester Exams

The semester final examinations shall be held at the end of each semester in each course. The duration of the Mid Semester Examination shall be of one and half hour. The duration of the End Semester Examination shall be two and half hour.  lt shall be the responsibility of the university to conduct the theory portion of the semester final examination. Practical examinations shall be conducted by the respective colleges. ln affiliated colleges, the final practical examination shall be conducted and evaluated by the - nominated teacher from University College.

Exemption from Internal Assessment (Mid-Semester Examination)

If a student is unable to appear in the Mid-Semester Examination due to participation in the University team for National/International Moot Court Competitions, Mock Trial Advocacy, Client Counselling and Arbitration Moot, only then he/she will be evaluated proportionately basing on the marks secured in the end-semester examination. The student’s application for not appearing in the mid-semester examination will be upon the recommendation of the Convener, Moot & Advocacy Society (MAS).

If a student is unable to appear in the mid-term examinations for whatsoever reason other than participation in the above mentioned events (duly approved by the University) he/she shall be marked as Absent. The student maybe permitted to appear for Repeat Mid Semester only in exceptional circumstances subject to approval of the Examination Committee.

Exemption from Internal Assessment (End-Semester Examination)

If a student is unable to appear in the End-Semester Examinations for whatsoever reason he/she shall be marked as Absent.

Revaluation of Answer Sheet

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University Visakhapatnam provides an opportunity by which candidates who are not satisfied by the marks secured by them can apply for revaluation or may demand for the copy of examination answer sheet. The revaluation forms will be available online at the university's official website. Incomplete forms will not be accepted by the university under any circumstances. The candidate will have to apply for revaluation of answer sheet only during the dates set by the authority. Nobody has the authority to apply for the revaluation of answer sheet of any other applicant. After filling the form, candidates have to deposit the requisite fees which will be non-refundable in any case.

DSNLU Visakhapatnam Revaluation Application

After the declaration of result, in case any student is not satisfied with his/ her result. He/ She can opt for the Revaluation of the subject exam. Candidates can apply for the rechecking of the answer sheet within within 7 (seven) working days from the disclosure of answer scripts for end semester exams. 

• Re –evaluation of End-semester answer scripts of current semester is permitted only on a written request in the prescribed format by the student and on payment of prescribed fee of Rs. 1000 per subject. External faculty will do the re-evaluation.
• If a student scores twenty-five or less marks in internal assessment in any subject, he/ she will be given an opportunity to appear for repeat mid-semester exams with the payment of fee amounting to Rs. 500 per subject.

The result of rechecking shall also be declared within a month, students can check the result after revaluation from the official website by following the steps given below to check revaluation result:

• Visit the official website of the University i.e. https://dsnlu.ac.in/
• Now go to the Examination Section which is available in the notification tab.
• Click on the Revaluation Result link available on the notice board tab.
• Now select your courses year branch, which results in what you want to check.
• Enter roll number and finally press the submit button
• Your Result will be appearing on your screen.
• Candidate must print the result for future reference.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University Visakhapatnam ( DSNLU Visakhapatnam ) was established is a National Law University located at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It was established by the DSNLU Act, 2008. DSNLU Visakhapatnam was known by the name Andhra Pradesh University of Law. The law college offers undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses and PhD courses to the law aspirants. The exam for these courses are conducted in semester pattern.
