Christ University is deemed to be a university declared under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, was established on 15 July 1969 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The main campus is spread over 25 acres and is part of the 100-acre (40 ha) Dharmaram College Campus in the central part of Bangalore. In the 2017 India Today-Nielsen survey, CHRIST is ranked among the top private universities in India. The university offers nationally and internationally recognized undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes in academic disciplines Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Law, and Management.
