BITS Admission 2023 Latest Update
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) conducts its own entrance exam, BITSAT, for admission to its integrated first-degree programs, including B.E., B.Pharm, and M.Sc. programs in various disciplines.
- BITS Pilani has initiated the registration process for BITSAT 2023 session 2 on May 24, available on the official website.
- Candidates have the opportunity to fill the application form for BITSAT session 2 from May 24 to June 12.
- The BITSAT phase 2 exam is scheduled to take place from June 18 to 22.
- For candidates who appeared in the BITSAT phase 1 exam, there is an option to request a change in the test date until May 26. If approved, these candidates will have to take the BITSAT exam on May 27.
- BITS Pilani commenced the BITSAT 2023 phase 1 exam on May 21, with exam dates spanning from May 21 to 26, 2023.
- Candidates appearing for the exam can download their BITSAT 2023 admit card from the official website.
- After the completion of the test, candidates will be able to view their BITSAT scores on the screen, which will indicate the number of correct and wrong answers along with the overall score.
- On the following day, candidates can also check their BITSAT scorecard on the BITS admission website.
- The authorities will prepare a merit list based on the BITSAT exam scores, which will be released on the official website.
- Admission to BITS Pilani will be granted based on the BITSAT merit list.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12th or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English.
- Candidates who have passed 12th with PCM and Computer Science are also eligible to apply for B.E. (Hons.) in Computer Science.
- Candidates who have passed 12th with PCM and Biology are eligible to apply for B.Pharm.
- Candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in Class 12th. For B.Pharm, candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12th.
- Candidates who are appearing for 12th examination in 2023 are also eligible to apply for BITSAT 2023.
Selection Process:
Admission to the integrated first-degree programs at BITS is based on the candidate's performance in BITSAT 2023. Candidates who score well in BITSAT will be offered admission to the program of their choice, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria and availability of seats.

BITS Pilani WILP
The Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) of BITS Pilani are specifically intended for working people, allowing them to continue working while pursuing their higher education. BITS Pilani currently offers over 30 WILPs and has a faculty of over 1000 highly qualified and competent individuals. In addition, over 28,000 working professionals are enrolled in BITS Pilani WILP and are pursuing further education in the field of Technology and Engineering.
The BITS Pilani WILP is separated into two sections: Individual Programs and Organizational Programs. B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA in Business Analytics, and other PG Diploma and PG Certifications are among the prominent degrees and postgraduate diploma and certificate programmes offered by the WILP for Individuals. BITS Pilani WILP students are provided with all study materials for their various programmes and are required to attend weekly live lectures as well as extra online contact sessions that include tutorials, doubt-clearing sessions, and industry talks.
