Selection Process for PhD courses
The Selection Process for Ph.D. courses is given below:
- Candidates who have cleared any of NET of UGC / CSIR / ICAR (ASRB) / GPAT / ICMR / GATE / DST - INSPIRE within the last 2 years from the time of applying, will be exempted from the written test of the PhD Selection Process.
- The Entrance Test will be of one and half hour duration of 100 marks consisting of 100 objective type of questions. The Entrance Test will have two Sections which are mentioned here:
Section 1: General Section contains 50 questions of one mark each.
- General Awareness
- English Language
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Analysis
- Data Analysis and Interpretation
Section 2: Subject-specific section. It contains 50 questions which would be of Master’s level of 1 mark each.
Step 3 is an Interview by the Faculty Research Committee which is of 30 marks.
