OJEE 2023 Exam Pattern will be released by the Directorate of Technical Education, Odisha (DTE, Odisha). The exam pattern is used to understand the pattern of exam, exam mode, type of questions, Negative marking, etc. Odisha JEE is a state-level entrance examination for admission into various Engineering, Management and Medical courses in the state of Odisha. OJEE 2023 Exam Pattern

The candidates can check below OJEE 2023 Exam Pattern as per the previous year below to get an idea of the mode of exam, duration, questions types, number of questions, marking scheme, etc.

  • The question paper of OJEE 2023 will be a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type paper.
  •  The number of questions will be sixty (60) per hour of examination. 
  • The medium of examination is English. 
  • Each correct answer shall fetch four marks. Each unattempted question will fetch zero.
  • There is the provision of negative marking (-1 for each wrong answer).
  • Answers will have to be marked on an OMR sheet, which will be corrected electronically. Thus the candidate must be careful while filling in the answers.
  • No re-evaluation will be possible as the OMR sheets will be checked electronically.
  • Candidates will have to fill in their relevant information regarding roll no, Name etc. on OMR Sheet PART A. He/she must be careful in marking the circles and mistakes once made won’t be corrected by any means.

    If a candidate chooses to appear in the entire subject PCM & Biology then the rankings will be done based on marks secured in PCM or PCB whichever is higher. If an examinee will not attempt any question from Physics & Chemistry but has attempted Bio or Maths then he/she will be disqualified & will not be given any rank. Similarly, if questions will be attempted for Physics & Chemistry but have unattempted either Bio or Maths then also will be considered disqualified.

Odisha JEE 2023 Exam Pattern in Detail

Question Paper will contain questions from

  • Physics,
  • Chemistry,
  • Mathematics and
  • Logical Reasoning.

The candidate should divide the time accordingly so as to finish the examination within the specified time. The syllabus for Odisha JEE 2023 is generally NCERT textbooks. Thus Candidates are expected to have a thorough knowledge of all the basic concepts and implementation methods taught in school.
