NIFT ET 2024 Application Form Latest Updates

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will be conducting the NIFT Entrance Test (ET) 2024 for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the institute. 

The NIFT ET 2024 will be conducted on April 2, 2024. The exam will be conducted in two shifts:

• Shift 1: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

The NIFT ET 2024 will be a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will consist of two sections:

• General Aptitude Test (GAT): This section will test the candidate's general knowledge and aptitude.
• Creative Ability Test (CAT): This section will test the candidate's creativity and design skills.

NIFT ET 2024 Application Form

NIFT 2024 Application form was available from January 1, 2024 on the official website of the competent authority. Candidates must read the detail given below to avoid any mistake while filling the form:

• Candidate must apply online on the official website only.
• Upload the scanned copy of photographs, signature and other documents in a prescribed format only.
• Candidates must check the application status continuously whether their online application form is received, under scrutiny, accepted, defective, status after rectification, Rejected with valid reason.
• Application fees can be paid via both the modes Online and Challan.
• Multiple forms will lead to rejection hence fill one form only.
• If applicants pay the application fee offline they need to send the filled application form along with DD to the given address:

• The application fee will not be accepted via Money Order, Cheque, Pay Order, IPO, etc.
• Candidates must complete the form in all respect otherwise their candidature will get cancelled without any prior notice.
• Take multiple photocopies of the filled application form & retain it safely for further references.
• The candidates are advised not to send the xerox of the online application form & fee payment receipt to the office of conducting body.

Documents required to fill the NIFT 2024 Application Form

• Valid ID Proof
• Caste Certificate
• Disability Certificate for Persons with Disabilities 
• Personal and Educational qualification certificate
• Image of scanned Photograph and Signature. The image should only be in .jpg  or .jpeg  format. Size of file should not be more than  50 kb.
• Debit / Credit Card [AMEX] details in case making an online payment.  

NIFT 2024 Application Fee

The applicants can check the NIFT 2024 registration fee details below:

• Online Mode - By using Credit Cards/Debit Cards - The bank and/or transaction charges on the Entrance application fee is to be borne by the candidate.
• Offline - By Demand Draft - The Demand Draft should be issued in favour of “NIFT HO”, payable at New Delhi.  Name, Date, Amount & Signature of the issuing authority should be mentioned on the Demand Draft.

• Note- Foreign National/SAARC/NRI/OCI can pay the application fee through the Online NIFT Payment gateway only.

Important instructions for NIFT 2024 Online Registration

Candidates must have to follow the given instructions while applying online for NIFT 2024 entrance exam:

• Candidates have to first create a login to Apply Online by entering Name of Candidate, Date of Birth, Re-Enter Date of Birth, Category, Are You Person with Disabilities(PwD), Email-ID, Programme Type, Programme Applied.
• Candidates must not use anybody else email Id and the id should be working and valid.
• Only one candidate can be registered with one email address.
• Candidates must give their valid mobile number because of all the information will also be sent via SMS.
• Must keep the Registered Id safe for all the future uses.
• Get the printout of the filled form for all the future uses.

How to fill the NIFT 2024 Application form?

The NIFT 2024 Application Form can be filled through online mode only. Candidates need to check the below steps for filling the online application form:

• Candidates need to visit the Official website " https://nift.ac.in/ " firstly.
• Click on Admissions
• Click on the links given according to the Nationality.
• Create the login ID by entering all the required details.

• Log in with the Registered Email Id and Date of Birth to complete the registration process.
• After login, the form will appear on the screen, candidates need to fill all the details such personal details, address proof and educational qualification correctly.

NIFT 2024 Application Form Correction

After submitting the NIFT 2024 Form, the Institute opens a form correction facility for the candidates. The correction process is provided to only those candidates who have submitted their form and paid the requisite fee before the end date.
