MGU CAT 2022 exam will be conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University. A Centralized Allotment Process will be used for CAT- MGU admissions. Annually at the national level, the Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test will be held for admission to various Postgraduate (PG) programmes. Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi, Kozhikode, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai are among the MGU campuses where the exam is held. Eligibility Criteria for MGU CAT 2022

Minimum Marks—50% marks in the qualifying exam.
M.Sc. Physics/M.Sc. Environmental Science & Disaster Management
Qualifying Examination—B.Sc. degree in Physics.

Qualifying Examination—BA/B.Sc. in Psychology.

Qualifying Examination—
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics/ History/ Law/ Politics with 45% marks OR
  • Degree in Commerce/ Anthropology/ English/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Philosophy/ Geography with 50% marks OR
  • Graduation in Science and not less than 60% marks.

Qualifying Examination—UG Degree
Minimum Marks—45% marks or Bachelor’s degree in arts/science with minimum 50% marks.
MA Developmental Studies, MA Gandhian Studies
Qualifying Examination—Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
Minimum Marks—45% marks.

Exam Pattern for MGU CAT 2022

Candidates should review the following details of the MGU CAT 2022 exam pattern to get a better understanding of the exam structure:

  • The MGU CAT admission exam will be held in a paper-based format (Pen and Paper).
  • The exam will be conducted in English.
  • Candidates have have 90 minutes to answer the questions on the question paper.
  • The exam will be made up of multiple choice questions (MCQs).
  • The question paper will have approximately 80 questions based on the candidate's chosen subject.
  • For candidates applying to the following programmes, the test will include objective and descriptive questions: MA Malayalam/ MA English/ LL.M./ Master of Tourism Management

Admit Card for MGU CAT 2022

Candidates can review the following important information on the MGU CAT Admit Card 2022:

  • The MGU CAT admit card 2022 can be downloaded from the official website.
  • The administration will publish the MGU CAT admit card release date soon.
  • Candidates must take a print out of the admit card.
  • Candidates should bring this admit card to the examination centre with them.
  • Candidates should also bring a snapshot of their government-issued photo ID.
  • Without the admit card, candidates will not be able to enter the exam venue.

Result for MGU CAT 2022

Mahama Gandhi University's CAT Result 2022 would be released in the first/second week of August 2022, tentatively following the exam. Candidates can also look at the ranking list. The rank list for all PG programmes is compiled using entrance test scores, GD/Interview/Descriptive exam/Qualifying exam scores converted to 20, and bonus marks/weightage marks/Handicap marks. After the Interview/G.D/Descriptive test, the final rank list will be released.
