Karnataka PGCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying the candidates must ensure the Karnataka PGCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria. Through this exam, the academic eligibility requirements are applicable for admission to MBA, MCA, and ME / M.Tech / M.Arch courses for the year 2022. Check the same below:   

• For Full-Time MBA courses - A candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% minimum marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years of the degree examination, whereas 45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates.
• For Part-Time MBA courses -
  • A candidate should have held a UG degree and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together subjects of all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to Part-Time MBA courses (45% of marks is required in case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates).
  • In addition to this, a candidate must have worked for not less than three years as of 31st July 2022, in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate is seeing to take the admission.
• For MCA -
  • A candidate should hold any recognized BCA / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree OR passed B.Sc. / B.Com / B.A. with Maths at Intermediate/XII/10+2 or at Graduation level (with additional bridge courses).
  • They must have obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together subjects of the years of the Degree Examination is eligible. 45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates
•  For Full Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch - Course - 
  • A candidate with a valid GATE score can apply i.e. GATE 2019, 2020 and 2022
  • A candidate holding the qualifying examination or equivalent degree and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years/semesters of the Degree Examination can apply. For SC, ST, and Category-I candidates the required minimum mark is 45%
• For Part Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses - 
  • A candidate with a minimum of 50% marks clubbing all the years/semesters of the degree examination can apply(45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, and Category-I Karnataka candidates)
  • A candidate must have worked for not less than 03 years as of 31st July 2022, in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate is seeking to take the admission.
  • However, the employer must fill NOC duly signed by the competent authority.
• Those who are appearing in the Qualifying Examination and are expecting their result are also eligible to apply.
