HTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria: HTET stands for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates who are aspiring to become a government teacher in Haryana fills out the form of HTET. Candidates must meet the HTET Eligibility Criteria to be considered for HTET 2022. The candidate must review the HTET qualifying requirements in full. After that, a candidate can fill out the HTET 2022 application form. Candidates can review the HTET Eligibility Criteria 2022 listed below.
  1. There is no upper age limit for the examination.
  2. Number of Attempts: A candidate may take the HTET as many times as they want.

Eligibility Criteria for the HTET 2022

The following are the minimal educational requirements for PRT, TGT, and PGT:

Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teachers in the HTET 2022 (Level 1)

There are two requirements that an applicant must meet:

1.Getting through Matriculation with:

Matriculation was completed in Hindi or Sanskrit.

OR

a senior high school diploma, a bachelor's degree, or a master's degree in Hindi.

2.The second criterion is:

Senior Secondary School diploma with a minimum of 50% marks and a two-year Elementary Education diploma (NCTE Regulation, 2007 notified on August 31, 2010).

OR

a 45 percent grade in senior high school plus a two-year elementary education diploma (NCTE Regulation, 2002 notified on August 31, 2010.)

OR

a senior secondary school diploma with a 50 percent grade point average and a four-year B.El.ED. OR a graduate with a diploma in elementary education.

Eligibility Criteria for Trained Graduate Teachers under the HTET 2022 (Level 2)

According to their respective disciplines, the candidate must meet one of the eligibility standards listed below. The eligibility criteria differ depending on which subjects the candidate selects on the application form:

Social Studies
1st condition: If a candidate holds a B.A. or B.Com. in addition to English, they should:

History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, and Psychology are two disciplines that must be combined with a 50 percent grade.

AND

  1. A./B.Com and a two-year elementary education diploma

OR

  1. A./B.Com with a 50 percent grade point average and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, released on August 31, 2010)

OR

  1. A./B.Com with at least a 45 percent grade point average and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

OR

  1. a senior secondary school diploma with a minimum of 50% marks and a four-year B.A./B.Com degree

OR

  1. A./B.Com with a minimum of 50% and 1 year of B.Ed (Special Education)
Condition 2: If the candidate holds a B.Ed., the teaching subject shall be Social Studies.
Condition 3: If the candidate is qualified on the basis of Matric, he must have completed Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit OR Senior Secondary, Graduation, or Post-Graduation with Hindi.
Science
Condition 1: If you have a B.Sc., you must take a combination of the following three subjects: physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, and mathematics.

AND

  1. Sc. and 2 years of Elementary Education Diploma

OR

  1. Sc. with 50% marks and 1 year of B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

OR

  1. a B.Sc. with a 45 percent grade point average and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

OR

  1. Sc with 50 percent marks and 1 year B.Ed

OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 years B.El.Ed / B.Sc.ED OR B.Sc with 50 percent marks and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education)
Condition 2: Science should be the teaching subject if the candidate has a B.Ed.
Condition 3: Matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit

OR

10+2 B.A. / M.A. in Hindi

Mathematics
1st condition: BA / B.Sc / B.Com with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and a two-year Elementary Education Diploma (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

OR

  1. a B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com. with a minimum of 50% in all subjects, including Mathematics, and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

OR

  1. a B.A./B.Sc. with 45 percent honours, 50 percent in mathematics, and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 years B.El.Ed / B.Sc.ED

OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 years B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com ED or B.A. Ed / B.Sc. Ed / B.Com Ed

OR

  1. A / B.Sc. / B.Sc with 50% marks, as well as in Mathematics and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education)
Condition 2: If the candidate earned a bachelor's degree in education, mathematics should have been one of the subjects taught.
Condition 3: Matric with Hindi / Sanskrit

10+2 with Hindi / B.A. / M.A.

English
Condition 1: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% in English and a two-year elementary education diploma (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

OR

  1. a B.A. with at least 50% in all subjects, including mathematics, plus a year of B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

OR

  1. a B.A. with a 45 percent grade point average and a 50 percent English grade point average, plus a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

OR

  1. A. with 50 percent in English and 1 year B.Ed

OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent in English and 4 years BA. Ed OR B.A. with 50 percent in English and 1 year BA.Ed (Special Education)
Condition 2: If you hold a bachelor's degree in education, English should have been your teaching subject.
Condition 3: Matric with Hindi / Sanskrit

10+2 / B.A. / M.A. with Hindi

 Hindi
1st condition: BA in Hindi with a 50 percent grade and a two-year certificate in elementary education (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

OR

  1. a B.A. with a minimum of 50% in all subjects, including Hindi, and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 years B. El. Ed

OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 years BA. Ed

OR

  1. A with 45% percent marks, as well as 50% in Hindi, and 1 year B.Ed. (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

  1. A. with at least 50% in all subjects, as well as Sanskrit, and 1 year of B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

 OR

  1. A. with a 45 percent grade, 50 percent in Sanskrit, and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

 OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 years B. El. Ed

  OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 year BA. Ed

  OR

  1. A with 50 percent marks, as well as in Sanskrit, and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education)

  OR

  1. Sastri with 50 percent marks and Shiksha Shastri / Language Teachers Course / Oriental Training in Sanskrit conducted by Haryana Government.
Condition 2: If B.Ed, Sanskrit should have been the subject of instruction.
Condition 3: Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit

OR

10+2 BA/MA with Hindi

Punjabi
Condition 1: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% in Punjabi and a two-year elementary education diploma (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

OR

  1. 2a B.A. with a minimum of 50% in all subjects, including Punjabi, and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

 OR

  1. A. with 45 percent marks and 50 percent in Punjabi, as well as a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

  OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 years B. El. Ed

  OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50 percent marks and 4 year BA. Ed

  OR

  1. A with 50 percent marks, as well as in Punjabi, and 1 year B.Ed (Special Education)
Condition 2: If B.Ed, Panjabi should have been the subject of instruction.

Condition 1: A B.Sc. in home science and a two-year elementary education diploma.

  1. a 50 percent B.Sc. in Home Science and one year of B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

  1. With a 45 percent grade in Home Science and a 50 percent grade in Urdu, and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

  1. Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4 years of B. El. Ed.

  1. Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4 years of BA Ed.

  1. F.A / B.A with 50% marks and 1 year of B.Ed (Special Education)
Condition 2: If you have a B.A. in Arts, Fine Arts should be your teaching subject.
Condition 3: Matric with Hindi / Sanskrit

10+2 / B.A. / M.A. with Hindi

Music
Condition 1: In the event of a B.A. in Music (Instrumental/Vocal), a minimum of 50% in Music as an Elective Subject.
  1. A. and a two-year elementary education diploma

OR

  1. a B.A. with a 50 percent grade point average and one year of B.Ed (NCTE Regulation 2007, notified on Aug 31, 2010)

 OR

  1. a B.A. with a 45 percent grade point average and a one-year B.Ed (NCTE Regulation issued from time to time)

  1. Senior Secondary with 50% marks and four years of B. El. Ed.

OR

  1. Senior Secondary with 50% marks and four years of BA Ed.

OR

  1. A. with 50% grades and one year of B.Ed (Special Education)
Condition 2: If you have a B.Ed., music should have been one of your subjects to teach.
Condition 3: Matric with Hindi / Sanskrit

OR

10+2 / B.A. / M.A. with Hindi

Eligibility Criteria for Post-Graduate Teachers in the HTET 2022 (Level 3)

Candidates must have a Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or a Senior Secondary, Graduation, or Post-Graduation with Hindi, as well as a good academic record. For Haryana TET 2021-2022, the following additional PGT eligibility criteria are as follows:

English, Hindi, Geography, Political Science, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Punjabi, Urdu, and History

B.Ed. and a master's degree in the relevant topic with a minimum of 50% marks

Sanskrit

B.Ed / Shiksha Shastri / Language Teachers Course / Oriental Training in Sanskrit and M.A Sanskrit / Acharya with 50% marks.

Biology

Candidates must secure atlest 50% marks M.Sc. Zoology / Botany / Bio-SCience / Bio-Chemistry / Genetics / Micro-Biology / Plant Physiology / Bio-Tehnology / Life Sciences / Bio-Informatics / Medical Bio-Technology / Forensic Science / Microbial Bio Technology / Genomics from a recognised university and B.Ed from a recognised university.

Physics

(i) Candidtaes should secure atleast 50 % marks in M.Sc. Physics/ Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics/ Electronics Physics and B.Ed. from recognized university.

(ii) Candidates must have Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

(iii) Candidates must have a solid academic track record.

Chemistry

M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry with 50% marks and B.Ed from a recognised university.

Mathematics

1. M.A./M.Sc. Math/Applied Mathematics from a recognised institution with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the graduation level and B.Ed. from a recognised university;

2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/Graduation/Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects.

3. A solid academic track record.

 Commerce

M.Com with Accounting / Cost Accounting / Financial Accounting with 50% marks and B.Ed from a recognised university.

NOTE: Degree holders of M.Com in Applied / Business Economics are not eligible.

Economics

M.A Economics / Applied Economics / Business Economics with 50% and B.Ed from a recognised university.

Music

M.A Music with 50% and B.Ed from a recognised university.

Fine Arts

M.A Fine Arts with 50% and B.Ed from a recognised university.

Computer Science

Candidates must have an aggregate marks of 55% in M.A Computer Science / MCA / B.E / B.Tech Computer Science / Computer Engg. / IT from a recognised university.

Physical Education
  1. M.A Physical Education or M.P.Ed with 50% and B.P.Ed from a recognised university.
    OR
  2. Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) from a recognised university.
