GUJCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria will be decided by the release of the guidelines by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). GUJCET or Gujarat Common Entrance Test is for admission in B.E/ B.Tech/ D.Pharmacy/ B.Pharmacy courses. Along with Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, State Board conduct this exam every year. The GUJCET 2024 eligibility criteria are as follows:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) for Engineering and PCM/PCB for Pharmacy.
- The candidate must have appeared in the 10+2 examination in 2022 or 2024.
- The candidate must be a bona fide resident of Gujarat.
GUJCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

General eligibility(For all courses)
- Nationality/citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India. No foreigners are allowed to apply.
- Domicile: Candidate must be domiciled of Gujarat. Candidates residing in another state can apply if they have domicile certificate of Gujarat.
For Engineering
- Qualifying exam: Candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination from any recognized board of India.
- Subjects: Candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination with Physics & Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects.
- Minimum marks: Candidate must have passed the class 12 with minimum 45% marks(40% in case of SC/ST & OBC).
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible.
For Pharmacy courses
Pharmacy courses are of two types i.e B.Pharma and D.Pharma
For B.Pharma(degree course)
- Qualifying exam: Candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination(12th) from any recognized board of India.
- Subjects: Candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination with Physics & Chemistry along with any of Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects.
- Minimum marks: Candidate must have passed the class 12 with minimum 45% marks(40% in case of SC/ST & OBC).
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible.
For D.Pharma(Diploma course)
- Qualifying exam: Candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination(12th) from any recognized board of India.
- Subjects: Candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination with Physics & Chemistry along with any of Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects.
- Minimum marks: There are no such criteria in case of D.Pharma.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible.
GUJCET 2024 Application Form
GUJCET 2024 Application Form will be released in July 2024 tentatively. Applicants will have to apply online on the official website of the GUJCET as the application form will be released there only. No offline mode will be accepted. Also, form without the requisite fee will not be accepted.
