CEED Cut off 2023: Qualifying Marks, Check Previous Year Cut off

CEED Cut off 2023 will be released by IIT Bombay through online mode. The result has been announced of 2022. Candidates interested in taking admission through the Common Entrance test of Design (CEED) in the M.Des Course must qualify with or above the cut off marks published by the authority. CEED offers admission into reputed colleges like IIT's, IISC Bangalore, IITDM Jabalpur, and many more institutes. Colleges will also release a category-wise cut-off list. - CEED 2022 Result has been announced on 08 March 2022. Candidates can download their scorecard from March 12 to March 14, 2022, after which the login portal will be closed.

Factors affecting CEED Cut off
Following are the factors that affect determining the CEED 2023 Cut off:
- Total number of candidates appeared in the examination
- Total number of candidates qualified in the examination
- Level (difficult, easy) of examination
- Previous year's cut off trends
CEED Cutoff 2023 - Paper A
CEED 2020 paper A will be of the following manner:
- Type of Questions: MCQ's and NAT
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration of Examination: 2 hours
The candidates will have to score the minimum percentage specified for their respective categories to qualify for part B. The cutoff for various categories will be calculated in the following manner given in the table:

Candidates must score equal to or more than the given below minimum marks in Part A to be shortlisted for part B.
CEED 2023 Cutoff Part B
Part B will consist of eight questions of 100 marks. Questions 1 to 5 are allotted 40 marks each, and candidates will be given an option to attempt any of these questions. A normalized score ‘S’ will be calculated by using the following formula:
S = {(m − μi) Σ / σi} + A, wherein
m= is the raw marks obtained in question i
μi = the average of the raw marks obtained by all candidates who opted for the question i
σi = the standard deviation of the raw marks secured by all candidates who answered the question i
A = 20 and Σ = 5 the average and the standard deviation, respectively, of the distribution of scores ‘S’. If the calculated ‘S’ score for any candidate is below 0, all such scores will be capped at 0, and if the calculated ‘S’ score for any candidate is above 40, all such scores will be capped at 40.
Marks obtained by the candidate in other questions in part B will be added to ‘S’ for securing the part B score.
CEED Cut Off
The cut off may vary every year for IIITs and IITs to IISC Bangalore. It can also be a varied program to program.
The authority will only provide the minimum qualifying cut-off marks for various categories, which are given below in the table. The candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks or above in Part A to be shortlisted.

CEED 2023 Score Card
The scorecard of CEED 2022 will be made available after the declaration of the CEED result. Those candidates will be able to download the scorecard those are qualified in the entrance test. The hard copy of the CEED scorecard will not be sent to the candidates. To download the scorecard, candidates need to download it with their registered mail ID and password. In the scorecard, the photograph and signature of the candidate will be printed. Candidates are advised to keep the printout of the scorecard till the admission procedure.
