BCECE 2022 Exam Pattern : Mode, Duration, Type of Questions

BCECE 2022 Exam Pattern will be set by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board. Bihar CET is a state-level combined entrance test for various fields like Agricultural Studies and pharmacy courses. The exam pattern consists of the number of questions, type of questions, mode of exam, exam duration, total marks for Bihar Combined examination. BCECE 2022 Exam Pattern
The complete details about the paper pattern of Bihar Combined Entrance Test are provided below:
1st Stage
- Sections - The question paper will have questions from the subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. And, Each subject will carry 50 questions.
- Number of Questions - Hence, there will be a total of 150 questions.
- Duration of Exam - And, the test duration is 2hrs and 15 minutes to attempt these 150 questions.
- Marking Scheme - For every correct answer 4 marks and for every wrong answer 1 marks will be deducted.
- Total Marks - Finally, the total weight of the paper will be 600 marks.
2nd Stage
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will carry 400 marks implying 100 questions from each subject.
- And, the duration of each paper will be 1 and a half hours. Also, a break of 30 min will be provided between two subjects.
- Further, In stage 2 there will be negative marking as well. 4 marks for every right answer and 1 mark deducted for every wrong answer.
- Therefore, the total weightage of 2nd Stage exam is 1200 marks.
Bihar Combined Entrance Test Paper Pattern
Note: Each stage will have questions from 4 subjects out of which Physics and Chemistry are essential papers. Candidates will have to choose between Mathematics and Biology according to their preference of the field; like mathematics for engineering candidates and biology for medical aspirants.
- If the candidate clears the 1st stage, then only he/she will be eligible to appear in 2nd Stage examination. Moreover, the Bihar Combined Exam conducting board will announce the cutoff for the qualifying test (1st stage) later.
BCECE 2022 Syllabus
The Bihar CET 2022 Syllabus will be released by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board on its official website. The topics will be covered from Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Agricultural Sciences of class XII.
