AILET Cut Off 2024: Check Category Wise Expected & Previous Year Cut off

Updated On - May 23 2023 by Abhinandan Singh

AILET Cut Off 2024 will be prepared by National Law University (NLU), Delhi. The category-wise cut off is set for admission to its 5-year integrated BA LLB and one-year LLM programs.  The All India Law Entrance Test cutoff list would be released at the time of counselling and seat allotment. The cut off is the minimum score (or rank) that one would have to secure in their respective category for admission into law programs. To determine the cutoff, the AILET officials will consider a host of factors like the seat intake for the program, the total number of applicants, the performance of the candidate, etc. The article contains AILET cutoff details of previous years.

Factors affecting AILET Cut off 2024

AILET cut off keeps changing every year as per the below-mentioned factors:

  • The difficulty level of the question paper - Tough question paper can lead to lower cut off and, an easy or moderate question paper may result in higher cut off marks.
  • Total applicants appearing in the entrance test - A higher number of applications can result in high cut off to shortlist the best candidates.
  • Total seats for the BA LLB/ LLM course - NLU Delhi has limited seats for BA LLB and LLM course, therefore, the cut off marks are high for both the courses.

This year, a unique factor may affect the cut-off marks of AILET 2024 i.e. COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates can expect a lower cut off this year if the mode of examination changes.
