IIT Hyderabad Admission Process 2020 for B.Tech, M.Tech., M.Sc., M.A. & MBA

IIT provides Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Integrated, Doctoral and Dual degrees across all disciplines in Engineering, Sciences and Liberal Arts. For B.Tech. admission is based on JEE Advanced Rank, For M.Tech candidate must have valid GATE exam score. In designing courses such as B.Des. admission is provided based on UCEED exam and in M.Des, candidate must have valid CEED score. For M.Sc admission, candidate must qualify IIT JAM score.
IIT Hyderabad Undergraduate Admission 2020
At the UG level, the institute offers a B.Tech.. course under various disciplines. The institute also offers a B.Des. degree. Both programs are offered for four years.

IIT Hyderabad Postgraduate Admission 2020
At the Postgraduation level, IITH provides admission in a number of programs such as M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Des, and M.A. in Development Studies.
IIT-H also provides admission in three-year M.Tech program for which the admission is done on the basis of interview conducted by college. The CSE department only offer a full-time M. Tech. program. Admission to the M. Tech. program is solicited in three categories:
- Two-year M.Tech in CS with Teaching Assistantship (TA)
- Three-year M.Tech in CS with Research/Project Assistantship (RA)
- Sponsored M.Tech (2-year or 3-year), where the candidate’s employer sponsors the expenses for this course

IIT Hyderabad Selection Process
M.Tech: For admission in M.Tech program, candidate must have B.Tech../B.E. degree or equivalent in the respective area and a valid score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
M.Sc: Candidate seeking admission in M.Sc. program candidate must have valid IIT-JAM score.
M.Des: Candidate must have valid score in the CEED (Common Entrance Exam for Design) exam for admission in M.Des course.
M.A. Developmental Studies: Qualified candidates will be called to appear for an entrance test followed by an interview.
IIT Hyderabad Ph.D Admission 2020
At the doctoral level, IIT Hyderabad awards a Ph.D. as a full-time program and the registered students are required to defend a problem statement and complete 12 credits of course work successfully, in order to confirm their Ph.D. candidature.
Ph.D. is offered by all the academic departments at IITH.
