IIT Delhi Admission Process 2020 for B.Tech, BDes, MBA, MSc, PGD and PhD

Indian Institute Of Technology, Delhi is one of 23 IITs in India. It was established in the 961 and is one of the best institutes in the country. IIT Delhi Admission Process varies according to the courses. For undergraduate engineering admission is based on JEE Advanced score, For postgraduate engineering courses admission is done on the basis of GATE exam score and admission in MDes is based on CEED scores. For admission in M. Sc. programmes candidate must qualify IIT JAM. For admission in MBA coursed, candidates must have a valid CAT score. IITD offers direct admission in MS(R) course on the basis of GATE score and/or on the basis of written test for certain eligibility conditions.
IIT Delhi BTech, Dual Degree and Integrated MTech Admission 2020:
Admission to the Undergraduate programmes at IIT Delhi is based on JEE Advanced score followed by JoSAA counselling. For being eligible in admission to UG programmes, candidates must have secured a minimum of 75 per cent (65% for SC/ST) in class 12 from a recognised board of education.

IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2020
IIT Delhi offers admission in MTech and MS(R) programmes on the basis of GATE score. The qualified candidates have to appear for a written test followed by an interview. The requirement of qualification through GATE is waived off if IITs BTech Graduates have CGPA of 8.0 or above.

IIT Delhi MS(R) Admission 2020

IIT Delhi Admission 2020: MBA, MSc, PGD, MDes
IIT Delhi accepts admission to its PG courses on the basis of various national level exam scores. Additionally, the shortlisted candidates to MBA programme are required to appear for an interview and MDes candidates are required to appear for a written test as a part of the selection criteria. Admission to PGD is merit-based.

IIT Delhi Ph.D. Admission 2020
IIT Delhi offers admission in both full-time and part-time PhD course at doctorate level. These programs are also offered to sponsored candidates in various disciplines. Candidates with BE/ B.Tech/ MA/ M.Sc/ M.Tech/ MBBS/ MD and MBA degree can apply for Ph.D. program after satisfying the requirement of entrance examination. Sponsored candidates have to fulfil the requirement of minimum experience needed by IIT Delhi.
Admission will be provided on the basis of marks in GATE/ UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET/ ICAR or ICMR. Candidates with DST-Inspire scholarship are also eligible for admission. Final admission will be done on the criteria set by the Department Research Committee (DRC) / Centre Research Committee (CRC) followed by an interview.

Application Process: For admission in PH.D programme, candidates have to fill the application form by visiting the official website of IIT Delhi. After filling the registration form candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 200 (Rs 50 for SC/ST/PH) through ‘State Bank Collect’ a utility of State Bank of India.
